    Hi all,

Sorry to hear about your DH @Abbafan1972 - I hope the hospital
can keep him comfortable and find out what the issue is - hugs xx

I lost 2lb at group?! That’s the lb I put on last week plus one more. Nearly into the single figures of this stone bracket.

The Christmas Fayre was small but I managed to purchase a bespoke gift for DIL2B plus a couple of handcrafted decorations for SIL and BIL. We had tea and a cake in Gail’s - I had a cinnamon bun which was straight from the oven and very gooey. Didn’t have any lunch as DH whisked me off to the local shopping mall to look at sofas! Think we’ve found a suitable replacement but £600 more expensive so will need to have a conversation with the store on Monday. We had dinner at Cote - I chose steak frites as less calories than anything else!

    Have a good evening all

    Morning everyone,

Thanks @maman it was a nice surprise!

I walked 18.5k steps yesterday - and wasn't even hiking!! Must have needed the rest as I didn't get up until 8.30am which is so unlike me.

Some housework to do today plus painting drawers for my tallboy - we've finally got the complete set of new handles from TK's so will be continuing with our up-cycling. There are also pictures to go up.

    Food today:
    B - blueberries, mullerlight vanilla, fruit wheats - S, 0.5, HEB
    L - HM soup, small WM roll - S, 6
D - spaghetti bolognaise (will include celery and carrots) - Free, S
    HEA - milk
    Syns - 6.5

    Have a good day everybody.

When you posted 'pictures to go up' I was expecting to see photos of the tallboy and the new handles @Coxy11. 🤣

It's been an OK day here @joedenise although clouded over now. DH and I went out for a walk by the river and stopped for coffee.

Pork tonight and it will take a lot of willpower to avoid the crackling but I'll do it. 😁 Reminds me of the woman at our group who used to put the chicken skin straight in the dog's bowl to stop herself eating it! We don't have a dog so the bin will have to do. It's a nice piece of pork, just £3 per kg in Asda.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- Spanish omelette (P, S), ham (P), beetroot (S)
D- roast pork (P), SW roast potatoes and parsnips (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - HM gravy 4, weekend wine 😊

Snap! to the pork @bubbs. Your plate is so full that the Yorkshire's falling off! 🤣

Well done on making the quiche. You'll have something to take with you when you're dashing around and won't go without lunch. 👍

    Evening everyone.

Thank you for all of your kind comments.  Hubby has been given some information for the next week leading up to the next hospital appointment.  He has got to fast from 9am on the Friday (the appt is Saturday). So I know he's going to be grump because he can't eat and he has to avoid fibre-rich foods from Weds. Hopefully all will be ok.

Was naughty last night, had an indian takeaway and had chinese tonight! Definitely need to be good now, I am determined to get some weight off this week!

I will post back again as soon as I can.

    Take care xx

    Morning all,

Still dark here but we have rain due later. I'm off to Old London Town today so have my breakfast and snacks with me.

@maman - I meant putting up pictures on the wall but yes I will post photos of my upcycling efforts once the handles are on!! Managed to get our entire list crossed off yesterday including replacing the shower seal and touching up kitchen wall paint. Feeling accomplished!

    Food today:
B - overnight oats, mullerlight vanilla, frozen cherries - HEB, 0.5
L - either M&S orzo (2) or M&S couscous (4), grapes and blueberries - depends what they have when I get there!
D - SC chicken curry using a Sharwoods pouch sauce left behind by DD - 3.5 for my portion
    HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar 3 plus either 2 or 4 plus 3.5 = 8.5 or 10.5 (praying they have orzo at M&S....)

Wishing your DH well for next week @Abbafan1972 and don't worry about the takeaways - you have a lot to think about right now, so be kind to yourself too xx

    Have a good day all
