  • Morning all.  I'm also exhausted hearing about your trips to the airport @joedenise - hope DD brought you back a nice treat to say thank you 😆

Hope you're feeling better soon @Jellybaby

Managed a maintain this week which is good after star week's arrival in the middle of the week.  Was no where near as bloated or suffering from PMS which I think is due to the super high strength Evening Primrose Oil the Dr's have had me take recently.  Either that or it's just a coincidence 😂  Had scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast and lunch is the last of the vegetable soup from the freezer - next batch will be celery soup starting tomorrow!  Dinner tonight is nacho style feast and I've just remembered I need to get the mince out the freezer to make the chilli with.  Also don't have any primula or similar cheese spread so it's going to be more like chilli with wedges, topped with cheese.

Hope everyone has a good day - the fog is lifting here and it's not too cold yet!

    Morning,

I'm in the office today. Was a real pea-souper this morning. Glad you finally got to collect DD @joedenise - was it even worth going to sleep lol?!

DH is in Birmingham for 2 days, so he left at 6am as I was getting up. Needed to put the bins out and the kitchen bin liner had split so had to clean the back door mat and disinfect the bin. Then a pot of blueberries leapt out of the fridge just as I was getting my overnight oats out to leave for the station grrr.

The Quorn cottage pie was awful - DH was making faces whilst eating it and I had to have some brown sauce to make it palatable! Unfortunately, I'm having to use it up for dinner tonight as don't want to waste my efforts in terms of food or heating the oven up!

    Food today:
B - overnight oats, mullerlight vanilla, frozen cherries - HEB, 0.5
    L - M&S veggie sushi, grapes, mango - 2
D - (the awful) LO Quorn cottage pie, stringless beans - Free
    HEA - milk
Syns - 2.5 but will probably have a hi fi bar after tea so 5.5 total

Definitely was worth having a couple of hours sleep last night - think I'd be a zombie if I hadn't @Coxy11!  Definitely worth having a few syns worth of sauce if it makes the cottage pie edible (just)!

Love sushi but never feel full after eating it!  Used to buy it in Tesco's after group when I went to my old group and sit and eat it in the car before driving home as I was always hungry as group never finished before 11.45, even though it should have finished before 11.30.

That's good to maintain under the circumstances @ruby_eskimo. 👍🏿 Glad that the Evening Primrose is helping but there could still be some water retention so 🤞🏼 for a loss next week.

I used the last of the Primula at the weekend so need to get some more. I do have some Laughing Cow so not that urgent.

What went wrong with the cottage pie @Coxy11? Do you think it was the Quorn? 🤔

It's quite a saga with your internet @Vegastare. At least they're on the case but it feels like it's taking forever.

You'll be glad to see bedtime tonight @joedenise. You spurred me on to get a few sewing jobs done today. Nothing major, just some running repairs and shortening some trousers for DH, but they've been waiting for ages, so it's done now.

How long have you got the dogs @bubbs? They seem very happy to stay with you.

I've decided I'm going to WI this Thursday. The 8 weeks isn't up but I've got various meals out coming up in the next few weeks so if I'm not in range I want to deal with it while I have time. I feel slim enough, but you never can tell.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, fried egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L- ham (P), 2 potatoes (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- baked salmon (P), SW chips (F), asparagus, broccoli, sugar snaps, tomato and mushrooms (S)
    Syns- 0

Glad to have spurred you on @maman to get on with the sewing jobs.  I've got my sewing bits coming later - wasn't actually expecting them until Wednesday so was a bit surprised when the email turned up saying they were out for delivery.  Tracking currently showing as 5-8pm - just hope it's a driver that knows the road as difficult to find particular addresses if they don't as the road is very poorly lit.

Good luck for WI on Thursday.  Seems a good idea to go now so that you've got a bit of time to pull it back if you need to although hopefully you won't.
