Wow! It's rare that I'm first to post!  Must be the clocks. 🤣

I portioned up the Bolognese sauce for the freezer. It made 4 x 2 meals plus a small portion for me on a JP.

I'm going to be out over lunchtime today so not sure if I'll have to find somewhere to eat or wait until I get home. I'm determined to stay on plan.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    L- tbc
D- JO roast pork (P, S), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - HM gravy 4, weekend wine 😊

Morning all, it's horrible and wet this morning, been raining on and off since the early hours.  I actually managed to have the extra hour in bed this morning - that's a first!  Normally I end up getting up an hour earlier than usual.  It usually takes me about an hour to get back onto normal time but looks like it'll be straightaway this year!

The omelette maker definitely sounds like a good idea for you @SingleSue - the omelettes sound brilliant.  Like you I often have pickled onions and beetroot on the side.  I also make a red onion chutney which is syn free and have some of that.  I really need to make some more as on the final jar!  Just waiting for Lidl or Aldi to have them cheap and then I'll buy a couple of kilos and make some more but think I might go out into the motorhome to do it so as to save on the electric - the hob needs to be on such a long time to cook it.  It'll be much cheaper to use the motorhome gas cooker!

My DD2 had an allergy to fresh tomatoes but was fine with tinned ones used in meals but couldn't eat, for example, grilled tomatoes.  She fortunately grew out of that when she got a bit older and she's fine now.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
    L - burger, onions, salad, soft pitta - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - chicken tray bake - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
Syns - LF sausages 2; LF burger 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

PS. I typed this about 8.30 this morning but only just realised I didn't actually post it!

Well done on the weight loss last week....positive vibes to me for this week DH is away from tomorrow so fingers crossed  I will be ok this week.  He is fine with what I eat but he certainly adds the pressure with his excessive nibbles....last night he asked why we never have After Eight mints - I shut him up with a mint Hifi bar 😃 speaking of him a gesture through the window for a cuppa ( I could give him a gesture) but to polite.

Obviously a few more syns in your sister's roast and pudding than you'd have at home @bubbs but you've always got syns to spare so it'll be interesting to see what happens. 🤔

Loved the comment about the After 8s @Vegastare. Like they're an essential food? 🤣

I eventually had lunch about 3.30pm. We went to the cafe where I can usually get a JP but they were closed due to staffing issues. ☹️ Tried another but they too had a problem as no one trained to serve hot food. I had coffee and about 5 of DH's crisps. Came home later and had a JP with the Bolognese and pickles.

    Dinner soon. 😁😋

I wasn't sure that the stuffing and Yorkshires would be the same syns as your own recipes but what really matters is that you enjoyed yourself and started celebrating your birthday. 😁

    Any more celebrations planned? 🤔

Afternoon all!  Where has the morning gone?  I did a load of washing and have that out on the line, needed to go and get a bit of shopping as had run out of yoghurt and need it tomorrow for breakfast - will also probably have some with fruit this evening.  Washing now dried, folded and put away!

When's your actual birthday @bubbs?  You just said it was this week but without letting on which day!  Happy birthday for whenever it is.

Have made a start of my dress over the weekend but have come up against a problem so need to leave it for a bit and then go back to it and try and sort it out!

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - LO bacon, pasta and veg - P; S; F
    D - fish pie, veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - will probably have a cereal bar of some sort 4.5

Hope everyone's had a good day.
