Morning!
The Quorn moussaka went down nicely with the remainder of the sprout slaw plus a crunchy salad bowl from Sains. Two portions left which DH has suggested we have tonight instead of the planned fish bake as he's going to the pub and we all know how fish pongs!
I managed another run this morning, only 3.5k as TOTM made an appearance and my hamstrings are still very painful after Wednesday's run, but every little helps!
Glad the car got fixed @Vegastare and I'm sure the 1lb will go next week now you're back on it. Great to have a target in mind for Christmas.
Well done on the fundraising @bubbs that's amazing. How do you advertise, is it FBMP?
Food today:
B - melon, grapes, poached egg, 1 x WM toast - S, P, 1/2 HEB
L - peri peri mackerel, crabsticks, salad, pickles - 1, S
D - Quorn moussaka and salad - Free, S
HEA - milk
HEA - mini babybel
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar

Morning all,
Like you keeping busy with dressmaking @joedenise, DS2 house hunting keeps me on the straight and narrow! I'm too busy researching potential homes to snack! I sit for hours browsing sofas and furnishings too 🤣🤣
A wee NSV this morning, managed to drop to the next hole on my belt!
Love the sound of the brussel slaw @Coxy11. What dressing do you use?
Food is rather random using up what's left.
B - bacon and mushroom omelette
L - baked potato, cheese (HEXA2), some salad bits, pickles
D - chicken curry with rice (last portion from the freezer)
Have a good day everyone!

You haven't posted your tea yet @bubbs but I'm assuming it's KFC. 🤔 We're having that tomorrow. 😋
I called in at the Company Shop today. Again nothing brilliant that was SW friendly or cheap but did buy a few bits. £2.40 for Ocado salmon fillets and 50p for jars of pickled red onions (like the Baxters ones) so worth my visit
Yes, the local wines can be a bit doubtful @joedenise. Being Spanish though probably worth a try.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S)
L- LO vegetable hash (F, S), pickles (S), fried egg (P)
D- baked salmon (P), chips (F),, stir fry vegetables (S)
Syns - weekend wine0 -
I have posted it.

Glad to hear he didn't deny breaking the window.
I do hope Company Shop doesn't go the way of Poundstretcher and some of the other places which are now more expensive than Aldi. CS has shelves full of tins of e.g.Heinz soups ridiculously overpriced even when reduced.0 -
Morning all,
We had Quorn moussaka 2.0 last night. DH really enjoyed it and that's saying something as he loves meat!! My poor belly is suffering with TOTM and now Quorn overload. Hoping for a loss this morning at WI but you never know...
@Jellybaby the sprout slaw is a Nadiya Hussain recipe - usually uses mayo, greek yoghurt and wholegrain mustard, but I just used ff nat yog and the mustard. It wasn't as creamy - I should have used some ltl mayo too but forgot! Great NSV with your belt!
AI sounds fab @joedenise - we've never been as there was always 5 of us and the rooms don't work in a hotel. I think the weather will be just right this time of year.
Glad the gardener got in touch @bubbs x
The outlaws are popping in this afternoon, so will buy some treats after group as don't want to put the oven on. I will also get some Hallowe'en candy for the kids in our road, who will no doubt be round on Monday.
Back later with news

Morning all, been raining this morning in the early hours but drying up now. Hopefully it will brighten up a bit later and I'll get the bedding washed and on the line to dry although doesn't look as though it's very blowy today so may not dry as well as the washing did yesterday.
I did manage to get my dress cut out but haven't started actually sewing it yet. I need to borrow my friend's magazine so that I can photocopy the instructions as there weren't any on the download. She's had Covid this week so hopefully she'll be clear sometime this weekend and I can pick up the magazine.
I always add a bit of LTL mayo when I make mayo as well as some ff yoghurt. Never tried adding grainy mustard - will definitely give that a try next time as I'm sure it will give it a nice kick.
Good luck @Coxy11, @bubbs and anyone else weighing today.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - P; S; F; 2
L - BLT - P; S; 0.5
D - Veggie biryani - P; S; F (will add some kidney beans as have half tin in freezer to use up)
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - LF sausages 2; LTL mayo 0.5; couple of rum & ginger beer 5
Have a good day everyone.0 -
I had an NSV yesterday, a customer I haven't seen since I started at SW asked if I had lost weight as it looked like I had (and mimed the slendering of bum, belly and boobs!), I was beyond chuffed that it is starting to become noticeable.
I've purchased an omelette maker as trying to do them at work in the microwave was giving disappointing results, it hasn't made it to work yet (just been doing soup there) but we've certainly enjoyed a couple of lovely filled omelettes at home.We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0
