That's excellent @SingleSue! ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ Really pleased for you. It's good when you get NSVs (Non Scale Victories like looser clothes) as well as seeing the numbers going down. I do hope you can get another referral as your group seems to be really motivating you.ยSingleSue said:Well my fears were unfounded, I lost 2.5lbs and my son 6lbs!
I've stopped putting meat in my chilli completely @Jellybaby. I put in extra beans, a handful of lentils and extra veg instead. I have stuck with the beef stock though as we like the flavour.ย
Respect for going for a run and so early @Coxy11. ๐๐ผ Was that a SW chicken curry recipe? ๐ค
I'm very careful what I buy for Christmas. from a mse point of view I make sure I buy things that won't be wasted. The only thing that's sometimes a problem is lettuce but since @joedenise explained that it can be cooked then that's OK too. I've already bought my own preferred chocolates (cherry liqueurs and chocolate marzipan) and I'll buy a bag of ready salted crisps to have with my turkey sandwich. Other than that, DH and the family can work their way through other goodies which don't tempt me. I'll have pudding on Christmas Day but otherwise, the roast dinners and cold meats, pickles and chips are really SW friendly. My biggest problem is the lead up to Christmas with party nibbles and eating out generally.ย
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, bacon, fried egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), pickles (S)
D- HM meatballs (P, S, F), tomato sauce (S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan

Well done @SingleSue on your 2.5lb loss and absolutely amazing 6lb for your son! ย My loss of 0.5lb pales into insignificance against those losses! ย Still at least I had a loss.
There are 4 more WIs until I go on holiday so hoping for at least 0.5lb a week as that will take me down to my 0.5lb above my actual target weight which is where I was when we went to France at the beginning of September. ย 2.5lb over this time should definitely be doable - obviously if I can lose more than that I will be over the moon!

I said the same to my son, I was chuffed with my 2.5lbs but his loss made it seem insignificant. Mind you, I am pleased for him, he has now lost 2st 1.5lbs since we started and with four more weigh ins allowed on the referral.joedenise said:Well done @SingleSue on your 2.5lb loss and absolutely amazing 6lb for your son! ย My loss of 0.5lb pales into insignificance against those losses! ย Still at least I had a loss.

All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Wow @SingleSue that is fantastic weight loss and your son too.
Busy day today been banging head against the wall with my car - long story but I am worn out.
Just had beans on toast for lunch and grabbed a Hifi bar when I came in with the most fantastic cup of tea.

We enjoyed our meatballs @Jellybaby, not had them for a while. I managed to save a small portion of the tomato sauce so I can use it at lunch time tomorrow.
I need to get more organised with my meal plans. I tend to write down 7 (or fewer if we're eating out) dinners based on what meat/ HM ready meals I have in the freezer and then throw it away and start again the following week . I think @joedenise has a spreadsheet but I do need to keep a list of mains that we enjoy to stop me doing the same things too often.
Glad it wasn't your car you've been banging against a wall @Vegastare. ๐คฃ I did notice you've not had much Speed today (just blueberries and raspberries). Maybe you've not bought in much after your holiday.๐คย I always bake mushrooms and tomatoes alongside the fish.ย0 -
