Well been for the Covid jab this am and I am still upright😉 was amazed at how busy they were, after I called in Aldi again so busy and yep no veggie sausage. One day I will find them.....they seemed to have the freezers full of Xmas stuff....I am trying not to think about it. I always get too many naughty things that I would never buy normally.

My weekly pre weigh in post...
Good week, stuck to plan, tried a few new things for meals. I am worried about weigh in though and whether the birthday week catch up is delayed and shows on the scales in the morning, in all honesty, I would rather have got it out the way last week (who knows, maybe I did and the loss would have been greater)
Only 5 (including the one in the morning) weigh ins to go before our referral period is over. In some ways, it is a shame as we are starting to feel part of the group now and being greeted by the other members but there is absolutely no way we can afford to carry on going after the referral period ends.
In the good news side of things, had to use the smaller clasp setting on my bra this morning and I'm having to oik my jeans up until they are just under my boobs to get them to be where they need to be on the crotch! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Morning all,
I have news.....I woke up at 5.20am and went for a 5k run... I was really annoyed with myself yesterday as I only managed 4.3k steps despite taking the pup for a walk and doing the food shop in my lunch break. Granted I drove to Ts as I needed tinned stuff but it just goes to show how sedentary I can be. Anyway, I got my running stuff out last night and just woke up and did it. Walked a few steps after the first 1.5k but otherwise kept going. It was hard but I'm really glad I did it. Will doubtless need a strong coffee later.....
Glad the jab went okay @Vegastare - our clinic has it down to a fine art now. Shame about the veggie sausages. I too buy naughty stuff at C'mas but I'm going to be mindful this year. Please hold me to that everyone!
Hope you enjoyed the show @annabanana82 x
Thanks @beanielou - are you still going to be on the social team at your group?
Good luck for WI @SingleSue x Sounds like you are experiencing a NSV (non-scale victory) if your clothes are feeling looser - sometimes it's so much more than just a number on the scales. If you can't continue at group, please keep posting here for support, encouragement, hints and tips. Not everyone on here goes to group (I don't think??)
The chicken curry last night was lovely and there's a portion left for DH for lunch today. Only issue is I can still smell it! Will need to deploy a fragranced candle!
Today's food:
B - blueberries, fruit wheats, mullerlight - S, HEB, 0.5
L - LO beef tagliatelle - free
D - SC pulled pork, SW wedges, coleslaw - 0.5 (for wholegrain mustard in coleslaw)
HEA - milk
HEA - mini babybel cheese
Syns - hi fi bar 3, plus 1 so 4 total
Have a good day all

Morning all, well done @Coxy11 on getting up early and doing a 5K run! All I can say is rather you than me!!! Definitely couldn't run where I live as it's an unmade road and full of potholes!
Great NSV @SingleSue; good luck for WI this morning. Shame you can't afford to carry on after your referral period - is there any way the GP will give you another referral or is it limited to just the one referral? I thought that as long as you lost weight they could re-refer you. As @Coxy11 said carry on posting on here for some support even if you do have to go it alone - some on here don't go to group.
Got a text message from DD1 yesterday to say she's got Covid - she's managed to avoid it up until now but has recently had to go back into the office a couple of days a week so suspect that's where she's picked it up as she doesn't even go out shopping and sticks to online deliveries. Hopefully she'll be OK soon as she's due to go on holiday soon.
I've had a good week but according to my scales it looks as though I haven't shifted anything and still showing STS but we shall see later!
Today's plan:
B - mushroom omelette - P; S
L - jacket potato, cottage cheese, salad - P; S; F
D - toad in the hole, potatoes, veg - P; S; F; 6.5
HEA - milk
HEB - none planned
Syns - flour 4.5; sausages 2
Back later after WI!
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning everyone,
Well done on the run @Coxy11 I enjoy exercising and how I feel afterwards but got to be pushed to start!
Good luck with WI this morning @joedenise and @SingleSue - worth checking with your GP if you can be referred again.
It's absolutely tipping down here as I type. Supposed to brighten up this afternoon but we'll see. So glad I managed to get some washing on the line yesterday.
Today's food:
B - f/f Greek yoghurt, apple and mango
L - tomato and red pepper soup, soft pitta (HEXB) with ham and salad
D - chilli with rice (chilli is almost veggie as it has so much speed added)
Syns - 1.5 for salad cream
Have a good day all!0 -
Well my fears were unfounded, I lost 2.5lbs and my son 6lbs!We made it!
