Glad you had a good day in Brighton @Coxy11. How is your DD? 🤔

We've had similar weather too. Pouring with rain this morning, bright and hot during the day and then thunder and lightning as I was leaving the football. DH couldn't come to the match today as he was working so I chose the healthy option and had a banana instead of a Crunchie at half time. 😇

We had a lush chicken dinner too @bubbs. I'd only picked during the day as had to go out before lunch so I was ready for it. 😋

    Today's EE plan -
B- scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L- bits of ham, tomato, beetroot and banana (P, S, F(
D- roast chicken (P), roast potatoes, LM stuffing balls (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - HM gravy 4, weekend wine 😁

    Morning,

Still dark here - off to the London office shortly. Will see what chaos today brings lol! We've been told to prepare for a new set of health ministers as early as tomorrow. Not sure who Therese Coffey is backing but seeing as she was Truss's right hand-woman I doubt she will survive if Rishi gets in.

DD was okay yesterday thanks @maman - a bit quiet but was overjoyed to see DS1, DF, and their puppy (we'd kept it a surprise and they met us at the pub). She only mentioned the BF once when she said she'd received an afternoon tea voucher for her birthday (from my sister) but would take her friend instead as he wouldn't like the food. Well done on resisting the Crunchie - doubt I'd have been so good!

    Food today will be:
B - overnight oats - made with HFFF sweetener and vanilla essence (no yog in the house so I improvised..), cherries - HEB, 1
    L - lo chilli con carne, 3 satsumas - P, S
D - beef tagliatelle from the SW website - free
    HEA - milk
    HEA - parmesan
Syns - hi fi bar plus 1 so 4 total

Back later. Have a good day all.

Morning all, had some thunder in the early hours but quite bright but a bit windy this morning - so better than I thought it was going to be.  More rain forecast later!

I've no idea what HFFF is @Coxy11!  Give us a clue!  I'm in the same position with no yoghurt at the moment so I've changed the menu plan a bit as was planning overnight oats for this morning as well.  I needed to use the yoghurt had to marinade the chicken for tonight's dinner!

I always used to hate changeover of Government or even a change of Minister, it always meant huge changes for everyone!

Last night's "stew" turned out not to be stew at all (the label had fallen off in the freezer!) and it was just mince & beans but it was quite tasty with the celeriac mash - which also made a nice change from mash.  Will need to find the bags of stew in the freezer as am planning stew again for later in the week!

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
    L - bacon and mushroom sandwich - HEA; P; S; 1
    D - butter chicken, rice - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - brown sauce (instead of spread) 1; skinny crunch bar 3

    Have a good day everyone.

Hmmm I'm wondering what HFFF is too 🤣

Christmas is coming, I've written my shopping list!  I'm sure you all know by now I love a list so it had to be done - two lists actually, one for the remaining bits and pieces to put in with presents and stockings and the other for food and drink 😁

Never got round to making lentil soup yesterday so will put that in the slow cooker at lunchtime for lunches for the rest of the week.

    Today's food:
B - 45g bran flakes (HEXB), f/f Greek yoghurt, raspberries
L - pea and ham soup
D - baked potato, cheese (HEXA2), salad, pickles (quick and simple after yoga)

    Have a good day all!

Morning all!  Well done on all the achievements @Coxy11 - I'm a bit further down the chain in the health service but we're still holding our breath for who the next Health minister is going to be and what ridiculous targets we're going to have to try and achieve next.  Hope the changeover isn't too stressful for you when it comes.

I think HFFF is half fat fromage frais @joedenise but I could be completely wrong!  I really need to try and label my freezer stuff better, it's a bit of a lottery in there at the moment - you never know what you're going to get!

Had a lovely day in London on Saturday for a friend's wedding.  The day was totally "them" and they really thought about the guests - each table had a different theme and the favours were associated with that theme.  The bride is part of the same book club I go to and all us members were on the "Books" table; she picked a book specially for each of us and made us a bookmark each as well 😍  Just a really lovely day, and then we had a morning out in London yesterday in the rain 😆  Weighed in this morning and have managed to lose the 1lb I put on last week but that will probably make a reappearance next week as we're off to Lisbon on Friday 😏

Haven't had any breakfast as I'm planning on a veggie hash for "brunch" to use up some veg before we go away.  Having a Gousto potato topped chicken pie for dinner with some cabbage which looks pretty decent and not too bad syn wise as the sauce is made with cream cheese.

Better get back to work, hope you all have a good day!

Hello everyone...I'm back and after yesterday off plan am back in the swing today, homemade red lentil soup made and had a wee bowl at lunchtime too - so again for dinner with a veggie omelette.

Really enjoyed our cottage holiday in Northumberland only one rainy day, so mix of walking and eating etc....won't talk about the cakes - all behind me now( literally behind, belly and sides) .  The cottage was a delight and so lovely and warm - did not want to leave and return to my cold home( it isn't really just wary of heating costs) DH is always saying " goodness sake woman but the heating on if your cold" but I am a worrier.

Hope you are all ok me thinks HFFF is @ruby_eskimo guess is right....

B 1 wbix blues and ff yog
L  Bowl lentil and veg soup
D  Veg omel with mush and toms and grated cheese - maybe cup hm soup too. Wh meal bread

HEA Milk cheese HEB 1 w bix 1 slice bread.

Welcome back @Vegastare.  Glad you enjoyed your holiday and as you say it's behind you now so line drawn and back o plan.  You'll soon get back into the swing of things.

You don't seem to be having a lot to eat today!  Will and omelette fill up up enough?  An omelette for me is a very small meal - it's the sort of thing I have for breakfast or lunch!  DH would never forgive me if that's what I dished up for our evening meal!  He even moaned the other night when I said we were having a jacket potato for dinner with beans and cheese so I ended up changing the topping to some pulled pork from the freezer to make it a bit more filling!

We still haven't needed to put the heating on yet which I'm glad about but I'd certainly be putting it on @Vegastare if I was cold.  Our living room hasn't dropped below 17 degrees yet and that was when we got up a 4am the other morning!  Most of the time it's 19 or 20 degrees even when we first get up.

I do worry about the cost of it but what will be will be - if it costs more than we've paid then I'll be sorting out after the winter!

@joedenise I wouldn't worry about DM food intake Denise - he was out for lunch today with work and had a veggie curry and cheese garlic bread starter, came in smelt the soup and decided he would have a bowl with slice toast, the omelette was his usual 3 egg tuna and cheese one with chips and addition of baked beans, as I speak he is downing a bowl of cereal, as for breakfast was in bed so no idea.🤣

He is very good with having what I have, but I must admit it is always added too to make it look a mans plate.
