Definitely the right thing to do @maman. Nothing worse than wasting food so enjoy the salads and the smoked salmon granary roll (wouldn't mind that myself!).
Change of plan for lunch - realised as I'd changed breakfast over with tomorrow's I needed to do the same for lunch as it would have meant no HEB today and 2 tomorrow! So we had toasted cheese sandwich today to use the 2nd HEA and HEB; followed by some fruit.
Weather has turned out OK - very bright and very windy so have ended up putting a load of washing on the line; did have it on the airer as it was a bit miserable this morning but definitely better for it to have a good blow!

Me again! Lunch was slightly different as I spied some cottage cheese with pineapple in the fridge so had that on my JP instead of opening some tuna. We are already having fish (smoked haddock) in tonight's kedgeree. Will count as 0.5 so no change to syns today.
Hope you feel better soon @joedenise. I had my covid booster this morning - no side effects...yet... Managed to renew my library book and get a pack of sweet peppers for the SOW basket tomorrow whilst out.
Oooh @ruby_eskimo it's all go - hope the new job comes off!
@maman - funnily enough the sofas are comfortable. Unfortunately they've made the chair wrong. We thought it was a bit odd - it's meant to have a scatter feather back cushion like the sofas but has a moulded foam fitted one. I've sent photos to the manufacturers and they are on it.

Morning all, a lovely sunny day with some wind so perfect for drying the washing. Have done 2 loads of darks this morning! I think DH has just been wearing stuff and dumping them on top of his chest of drawers so have ended up washing 4 jumpers, 3 pairs of trousers and a pair of shorts! He hasn't worn shorts for about 3 weeks or more so they must have been there from then. I only grabbed all the stuff to make up a load as there wasn't enough in the wash bin but now I know why!
Need to go to the market this morning to order some large paper towel rolls - they guy gets them specially for us but have to be ordered a week in advance, which of course means we'll need to go again next week. While we'e there I'll check out the fruit and veg stall and see if there's anything worth picking up - there isn't usually!
Last night's jerk chicken was lovely - it was better than when I've made it previously. I used the Pinch of Nom recipe this time so if anyone fancies trying it I'd say it's definitely worth a try. DH said he'd have preferred it a bit hotter but it was certainly hot enough for me!
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs on toast; marmalade on toast - HEB; P; 0.5
L - hidden vegetable pasta (although the veg isn't hidden as I couldn't be bothered to cut the veg tiny!) - P; S; F
D - jacket potato, pulled pork (with added sweet chilli sauce), corn on the cob - P; S; F; 6.5
HEA1 - cheese (will add a bit of parmasan on top of the pasta)
HEA2 - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - tsp marmalade 0.5; 10g butter 3.5; 2 Tbs sweet chilli sauce 3
Have a good day everyone.

Don't you just hate it when cars go wrong, just like computers!
Glad the KFC cheered you up @bubbs. 😋
Washing all done here too @joedenise. I like the sound of the jerk chicken. Did you use breast or thighs? 🤔
Back on plan here, at least for a couple of days. We're out to eat again on Monday evening. Our last two meals with friends have coincided with the death of the Queen and the resignation of the Prime Minister. Almost afraid to venture out! 🤣
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
L- JP (F), ham, cottage cheese (P), leaves and beetroot (S)
D- chicken stir fry (P, S), noodles (F)
Syns - 2.5 for honey in sauce, weekend wine 😊0 -
@maman - I usually use thighs but have also done it with chicken breast. I used thighs yesterday. Not sure if I said but I usually use the SlimmingEats recipe where the chicken is marinaded overnight but forgot to get the chicken out in time so decided to try the Pinch of Nom one where you just rub a dryish mix over the chicken and then bake it. It includes honey so means syns, although not as many as the SlimmingEats version. I didn't have any honey so substituted maple syrup (used just under a Tbs as that's all that was left in the bottle!)
We both enjoyed yesterday's more than usual one so will definitely be using the PON version in future.0 -

1lb isn't too bad from your holiday @bubbs. Although it is infuriating how things catch up and it's definitely harder when close to target weight than when there's a lot to lose. ☹️
It was good that they could fix your car so quickly though. That's a positive. 😊
I'm going to have to knuckle down to plan properly PDQ as lots of 🎄events seem to be coming in thick and fast which involve eating! 🤣0 -
Evening all,
Late post from me as DH picked me up straight from group and we've spent the day with DMum (took her out for lunch/browsing shops in Faversham) then dropped her home and went to Co$tco, H0mesense and Dun-elm at Lakeside. Have just dropped DH at his mates' house as he's cooking a Thai curry for the lads.
Lost 2lb at group which meant I got my 1 stone award, my Club 10 (1st lb lost in total) plus I got the SOTW basket as she'd already left AND I won the raffle AGAIN...I mean....it's getting embarrassing. I told the relief consultant to pick another ticket. The lady who won (it was a bag of speedy veg) kindly gifted me the sprouts as she doesn't eat them. SOTW basket had tinned mushrooms, potatoes, baked beans and water chesnuts, baked beans (He!nz wow), passata, some corn cakes plus the pack of 3 sweet peppers I put in. I am planning to make soup tomorrow or Monday with the peppers.
I now have a new big number on the scales that I haven't seen since March 2020 when the world went crazy beans. Very very chuffed and I have 10 weeks left on my countdown which takes me to NYE, then (hopefully) a free Club 10 week. I'm hoping to be near or at target for the new year. No soup book today (CD offer) as regular relief consultant wasn't there. Hopefully next week.
I had grapes for breakfast at group, then a 'spoons JP with tuna mayo and salad, pep$i max, then a piece of lemon sponge cake..... Only ate half and gave the rest to DH. Had a packet of snack o jacks and 2 babybel light just now, but I'm just drinking some squash as I haven't drunk much today and feeling a bit dehydrated.
Sorry you've had car issues @bubbs but glad they could fix the problems. Sorry too about the gain. I have no words as your food is always on plan and looks lovely. I know you don't stand still either, so the body magic is definitely being ticked off too. Frustrating for you I know xx
Glad you're feeling better @joedenise. The top of my arm is sore but otherwise I feel okay. That jerk chicken sounds nice, so will check it out, thanks!
Have a good evening all.
