Yay @beanielou that's excellent - I hope the SOTW goodies were plentiful! Our basket is only ever about 4 items as I think people forget! I put a stew pack of veg in this week.
Still dark here but expected to be 16 degrees today so I will get a wash on shortly. Poor DS1 took 4 hours to get home last night - Tottenham to Maidstone - due to protestors on the Dartford Bridge. He got home at 9.30pm and left again at 5.30am to go back in. We are back in our bedroom with plush new carpet, no clutter and newly painted wardrobes. It's like being in a hotel - so happy6 sacks for the CS and one for the tip - hurrah!
Food today:
B - smoked salmon, scrambled egg, spinach, 1 x WM toast - P, S, 1/2 HEB
L - Jacket potato, baked beans, cheese, salad leaves - 1, HEA
D - beef and mushroom stroganoff with rice - 1 syn
HEA - milk
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
Syns - possibly a small glass of red wine - 5 plus 2 so 7 total
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy

Morning all, well done @beanielou an excellent result and SOTW too 👏👏👏.
Not had a good night - had a raging temperature, sore throat and headache but finally got a couple oe hours sleep from about 6 this morning and feeling much better.
I got a machine load of washing almost dry yesterday so had that on the airer overnight. Once it brightens up I'll get another load on and hung on the line and then I'll be more or less up to date with it!
Today's plan:
B - baked oats, frozen strawberries, blueberries and cherries - HEB; S; F
L - picky plate to use up bits from the fridge - HEA2; P; S; F; 6
D - spinach, aubergine & chickpea curry, rice - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
Syns - piece of brie 4; little potato salad 2
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. Well done on the loss @beanielou 👍 and especially with SOTW! Hope you're feeling a bit better today @SingleSue and fingers crossed you're up to celebrating with your son later on in the week. Sounds like you had similar side effects to the jab that I had @joedenise, maybe a nap later is called for with the lack of sleep.
Another workout ticked off this morning and some yoga done. Had porridge with banana for breakfast this morning, lunch is sweet potato soup and dinner is the last of my leftover sweet and sour tofu out of the freezer.

So pleased you're starting to enjoy the benefits of all your hard work with the decorating @Coxy11. 👍🏼
Hope you'll feel well enough for your appointment this afternoon @joedenise but do try to take it easy.
You seem to have found a great new burst of energy from somewhere @ruby_eskimo. Well done! 😊
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P)
L- cold meat (P), fried potato, veg and pickles (F, S)
D- sausages, mash, LO gravy (F), carrots, cauli, broccoli, cabbages, fried onions (S)
Syns- sausages 3?
That's the last of the 'unknown' sausages. I think they were Sainsbury's BGTY pork but not the low fat ones. Will be replaced with Aldi 0.5 syn skinny ones at the weekend.0 -
I've got to go back to the nurse again in about 3 weeks time after getting another blood test done! Why the hell they didn't do the thyroid one when they done the other one a few weeks ago! DH has also got to go back again. My BP was a bit high but suspect that was because I wasn't feeling brilliant.
I did go back to bed before lunch for an hour which helped but think it will be an early night tonight as well.
Change of plan for tonight the curry I made yesterday really isn't very nice so has been binned - don't like wasting food but don't think either of us could face it so we're going to have lamb shanks, potatoes and veg which I'm sure will be much nicer. Went to the butchers to get some low fat sausages and he hadn't got any as the producer sent the wrong stuff - they sent a flavoured burger mix. So need to go back again on Thursday or Friday. Will buy a couple of dozen and freeze in portions to last until we go on holiday in about a month's time.0 -
Thanks everyone.
SOTW basket was really poor.
Two rusty tins, one manky apple, a tin of soup full of syns.
Pasta I had taken & something else which I forget

Shame about the SOTW basket @beanielou but what matters is you are SOTW, had a good loss and two weeks running. 👍 I always try to put something decent in the basket, usually a tin of something but definitely not rusty! 🤣
You'd have thought they would try to streamline the blood tests @joedenise, what with appointments being so hard to come by Such a waste of everyone's time. ☹️0 -
It's useless trying to get an appointment at our local hospital @maman so we'll go to the hospital in the next town where they have a walk in service. Agree they should have done all the blood tests at the same time.
I always put something decent in the SOTW basket usually a tin of tomatoes or something and definitely not a rusty tin.0 -
Evening all
What a beautiful day, loads washing dry including a thick throw for the bed ready for winter .
Denise i hope you are feeling better?
I always put something nice in SOTW basket everyweek. Usually a bargain 🤣 i got some nice little clicky containers reduced in tesco 99p , i got loads of measuring spoons reduced in asda 30p, so i put these in and in between either veg/fruit or tin of something.
Sorry yours was rubbish Beanie.BreakfastPiece crustless quiche, 2 pearsLunch hexb, half hexa cheese spread , ham and fresh beetroot, pearsFor the gravy, I chopped onions finely , 2 stock pots, 2 oxo cubes and a can of mushy peas, mustard powder whizzed together, makes it thick, you can't taste the mushy peas
