No heating on here yet, if it goes on this winter, it will be December before I do so. We get by using quilts on the sofa and because I spend a lot of time in bed due to disabilities, I tend to be nice and toasty under the quilt there.

I really do not hold out hope for this week, Friday night I was careful at the meal out but my margins are so slight that one big meal can put them out and we have three things this week! Saturday I did have a small slice of mum's cake, 1 chicken cocktail sausage, a small (very small) slice of quiche, a few quarter triangle of sandwiches and a shed load of shellfish. I must admit I really did enjoy the small slice of cake.

Yesterday was a problem though, I completely overdid things these last few days and I was stuck in bed, unable to move voluntarily, although involuntary movements were in overdrive or speak, no food prep or cooking could be done (just getting to the loo on the same floor was a challenge). I was too scared because of the syns involved to take youngest up on his offer of getting me a sandwich from Tesco whilst he was out and about. I ended up having two bowls of dry rice krispies as that was what was available in my bedroom.

I'm still in bed now but I've got to somehow get things moving as it is middle son's birthday today and we are going out for a meal, I have picked what I am having already (steak, jacket potato, gravy - can't abide a dry jacket, not at all enjoyable) but with all the higgle piggidly of eating over the last few days, I fear the damage has been done already. Saying that, I won't be going over board and going mad because I think the week is a blot anyway, I'll still be trying my hardest until weigh in day.

Oh well, it is what it is and I'll not beat myself up over it, to be honest I'm more peed off that I looked a complete idiot on Saturday as my (adult) children had to do my talking for me and the jerking limbs meant I hid away from others instead of joining in with the party which I find completely embarrassing and demoralising, than a potential gain.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Afternoon all.  Well done on the loss @TakeItEazy - hope you get the medication issue sorted with the doc's soon.  Hope the migraine goes soon @Coxy11 and the end is in sight with your renovations!

Put 2lbs on this week 😏  Saturday was a day of eating very off plan and I may have found a new love for orange Twirls 😆  But back to it this morning with a 5am wake up to get a workout in before work and I even did some yoga 😳 Had yogurt and raspberries for breakfast, lunch was curried sweet potato soup and a slice of bread and dinner tonight is hot pot.

Hope everyone has a good day!

I do hope you can get moving and get out for your son's birthday meal @SingleSue. 🤗 You're right not to beat yourself up about any of it. Just draw a line as soon as your health allows and start again.

You seem to have jumped straight back on the wagon today too @ruby_eskimo with an early start for exercise and a healthy menu for the day. 👍🏼

Hope you're feeling better @Coxy11 and that you get off lightly with your vaccines @joedenise. It's a lovely, bright day here today. I've just booked flights for our sunshine holiday next June/July. 😁

So far so good @maman but lets see how things go over the next 24 hours.  DH and I have appointments with the nurse tomorrow afternoon so hopefully I'll feel up to it!

Something to look forward to next year then with booking your flights.  Do you book direct with where you stay?  We've got a holiday booked for April next year for our anniversary - we were originally supposed to go in 2021 but cancelled due to Covid as it's to Gambia and decided we couldn't afford it this year as we'd already got other holidays booked.

Yes, the apartment is booked directly a year in advance. They know us well and don't even ask for a deposit so no problem when we had to cancel in 2020 and 2021.

Irritating thing about the flights is that they cost £200 each which is OK but another £100 by the time we'd reserved seats and paid for hold luggage. ☹️

Just realised I didn't have any rice pouches in freezer and didn't want to use a shop one. Cooking a batch of brown rice right now. 😁

My headache/tiredness post vaccine came on the morning after for about 8 hours.
