Afternoon all (still here doing nothing 😕)
Feeling a bit emotional today, could easily sit down for a good cry (especially hearing Robbie Coltrane has passed 🥺).
Think it’s due to meds - long story alert -I order my meds through app. I haven’t had a review so looked up on NHS app and it should have been 28 sept. So my app won’t let me order even though I’ve run out. Went into Drs to make appointment, fully booked for weeks 😤. Explained to Receptionist who said she would get Dr to ring (that was Thursday). Still not heard anything so having to go cold turkey as no meds. Side effects of stopping suddenly, sleep disturbance (yep kept waking so shattered), mood swings 🥺🥺. Thing is all the meds did was make me drowsy (on top of CFS) and nothing for the pain😤.

Went on school trip, couldn’t keep up 🥺 (back, sciatic pain). So fed up.

    Small highlight lost 1lb!
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

You've done well to STS in just a week from your holiday @bubbs. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

The 1lb off has to be a positive @TakeItEazy, at least something's going right for you. 👍🏼 That's a sorry tale about your medication though. Obviously the system isn't working if the review date just came and went and no chance of an appointment. Hope you get that telephone appointment very soon.

Some 'friend' @Coxy11, but you did the right thing to make sure she knew how you felt.

Rather a lot of eggs on my menu today but it's what I fancied. I'm making a sort of chicken supreme thing today. It's chicken in sauce adapted from Jamie Oliver and Slimming Eats pie fillings but I'm not doing pastry just piling it on some leaves.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P)
L- fried eggs, ham (P), mushrooms, tomatoes, spring onions (S)
    D- chicken in sauce (P, S, HEA2), new potatoes (F), leaves, green stuff (S)
Syns- cornflour and mustard 1? weekend wine😉

Hi everyone, sorry been AWOL as I ended running in and out of hospital with my dad sorting various things out. It would’ve been much easier if he’d stayed in but he was having none of it. So for three days took him in each morning then waited for him - with my laptop and coffee and sandwiches from the various (expensive) cafes 🙈

I whooped with joy when I got STS this morning!!

Hope you are all well - think I caught a bit of washing chat one day 🤣 - going to pour a coffee and catch up proper.

Thanks @bubbs he’s OK, you know what it’s like though, they go in for one thing and then several different things show up that need treatment. He’s doing fine all things considered - certainly happier being at home (mother less so 🤣🤣🤣).

    Evening all,

I lost 2lb this week - the 1.5 I put on last week plus another 0.5. Happy with that. Definitely think the extra fluid intake is helping, so I’ll continue with that.

I bought the 12 week countdown which ends on NYE. Hopefully I’ll be at target by then. I will also get the soup
    book.

We have been sorting the house all day. Furniture has been moved around downstairs plus more painting. DH did the box room ceiling and I did the walls. We also painted the wardrobe twice plus a large chest of drawers. It’s exhausting and we’ve only just sat down. With that being the case we ordered kebabs - mine was chicken shish with loads of salad. Naughty but much needed.

    Food shop tomorrow.

Well done on STS @bubbs and @Jellybaby. Hope you get your meds sorted TIE

    Have a good evening all
    Coxy x

Well done on your STS @Jellybaby. Hospital outpatients can be the hardest places to get healthy meals, to say nothing of the expense. It doesn't make sense to me. 🤔

    Morning all,

Bright and fresh morning here in Kent. I have just had my breakfast then, yes, you've guessed it - more flipping painting! Last day today whoohoo. I will paint the box room walls whilst DH goes on a tip run. He will then paint the tallboy for a second time while I go for the food shop. DS2 is here atm but has plans with friends today which is great, as all my clothes need to be moved to his bedroom today in preparation for the new carpets tomorrow! We will drop him at the station later.

    Food today:
    B - raisin wheats, mullerlight vanilla, blueberries - HEB, 0.5, S
    L - omelette with spinach and cheese - P, HEA, P
    D - to buy!
    HEA - milk
Syns - 0.5 plus a definite rum n pepsi max later so 3.5 total

    Have a good day,
    Coxy

Well done on your loss @Coxy11 - and all the painting!

It’s wet, cold and windy here. Just had a bacon roll with tattie scone (McGhees 3 syns) absolutely lush and finishing a coffee and writing a list of what’s needed for Christmas. Got the main presents just need all the wee additions and stocking fillers.

Steak for dinner tonight but will need to write a list of dinners for the week once DS confirm his plans. Can you tell I love lists 🤣🤣
