Morning all, well done to all the losers and hope you enjoyed Scotland Coxy - sun is actually out here this morning but not warm!  I have a load of towels in the WM and praying it stays dry long enough to get them out for a few hours!

Back to work today so back into a routine though I've been on plan since 'the gain' on Saturday.  Today's food is:

B - sweet omelette, banana, raspberries, f/f yoghurt, 1 tbsp Skinny syrup (0.5)
L - tomato and red pepper soup, cold ham and leftover roasted veg
D - prawn stir fry, 1 tbsp light sweet chilli sauce (1 syn)

    Have a good day all.

Morning all.  Had a lovely weekend split between relaxing and doing those annoying jobs that have sat on the to do list for way too long so feeling a little accomplished.  It's star week so no point in weighing myself as I'm all bloated.

Had usual ff yogurt for breakfast with mango and then lunch is a chicken salad.  Dinner tonight is leftover thai red chicken curry from the freezer with butternut squash, sweet potato and green beans added in.

Hope everyone has a good day!

At least it was a loss last week @MrsRyan and that's great news about the size 16s.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

While I don't measure myself  or weigh at home but I have specific clothes (like clean jeans😉) which 'tell' me how I'm doing. That's not strictly true though as I did measure my waist last week. There was a lot in the press about obesity and it said that a good rule of thumb for a healthy weight was if your waist was less than half your height. I just had to check. 😁
Keep your waist to less than half your height, guidance says - BBC News

I like sweet chilli sauce with a stir fry too @Jellybaby. I've got plenty of Ben's (formerly Uncle Ben's) sweet and sour sauce at the moment but when it's gone I'm going to use the sweet chilli. It's less syns too.

I suppose your DH meant well with his veg @Coxy11 but it just shows how easy it is to turn a potentially SW friendly meal into anything but. 😊 If you've only gained a couple of pounds after all the sandwiches and other things then that will be great.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, fried egg (P), baked beans (F)
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
D- chicken casserole (P,S,F) with cauli, broccoli, cabbages (S)
    Syns- mayo 0.5, cornflour 1

Good for you @bubbs. It can't do any harm to make changes to your menu.

While I was prepping the veg for tonight's casserole, I parboiled and froze carrots, parsnips and potatoes from veg wars. That'll make life easier for a few Sunday roasts. 😊

Enjoy your salmon @bubbs.  I don't have that very often as DH isn't keen!  He'll eat it now and again but won't eat it on a regular basis so we only have that problem 2 or 3 times a year so it's something I'll sometimes have when we eat out.

Wish I had some freezer space to do the same @maman but there just isn't much room in either of them at the moment!  Had really hoped to run down the chest freezer before we go on holiday in June but can't see that happening!

Most of mine is meat and HM ready meals.  I do keep a few bags of frozen veg but that's just one drawer of the upright so not very big.

My DH didn't used to enjoy salmon either but I weaned him on to it by having infused ones with lime and chilli sauce and now he enjoys it. 😋

Like you @joedenise, I often have fish or seafood when I'm eating out. I think I like fish more than meat. 🤔

I have two freezers. There is a fair bit of meat and fish in there but also HM ready meals, some bread and frozen vegetables and fruits. At the moment, most of the veg is stuff I've bought YS and frozen myself although I did replace the frozen leeks today. I can't be bothered with washing raw leeks.

I think if I was as savvy as you with shopping @bubbs, I'd probably make meat a priority. 😊
