Brilliant loss @OWD_nana. Delighted for you. 👏👏👏 Now you're back on plan, you should have your half stone soon. 😁

I always choose Americano when I'm in a coffee shop. Like @joedenise says, since we have 2 HEAs, I don't think I've ever not had enough milk left to need to syn it. Most places use semi skimmed or other milks which are the most generous for a HEA.

I'm sure you enjoyed those chocolates @bubbs. I rarely drink coffee at home (stick to tea). What do you have? 🤔
Tea, squash or pepsi max :D when it's real hot i have water, but i drink ltrs a day 🙈

  • Was a quiet WI tonight, I lost 2.5lbs and my Daughter 1lb.
I came home and treated myself to a creme egg didn't enjoy it as much as I'd thought.

No work this week so hopefully will get in at least 1 3 mile walk each day and get myself a new front number next week

Another good loss @annabanana82. Well done! 👏👏👏

🤞for the new number next week. That's another milestone smashed. 😁
Have you been taking measurements? Exercise can help you tone up and lose inches. 😊

I was wondering @bubbs whether you have a lot more Pepsi than water? 🤔 I read somewhere that fizzy drinks can increase your appetite. ☹️

Thank you, I lost my bit of paper with my measurements from when I started so jotted current ones down a couple of weeks back.

My clothes all seem too big now, what I used to refer to my "emergency pants" the ones which were too tight and only came out when the washing had been forgotten are now too big.

How do you all manage clothes shopping when shrinking? I'm really loathe to buy too much as I know it won't last long (hopefully). When  I've done slimming groups before I've always thought they should have a clothes swap night.

    Hiya everyone
Apologies I’ve been AWOL again. I was a bit disappointed at WI as I lost half a pound but I got a round of applause when I mentioned that I was wearing a size 16 outfit (top, leggings and underwear but obviously I didn’t mention that 😂)
I was away at the weekend with OH, he finally got his wedding present! We went to see Simple Minds and had pizza before at Pizza Express, then went for a few drinks and supper was a kebab. Following day we both had a big hotel breakfast and on the way home stopped at services for more junk food 😂
I did a lot of walking though and I seem to have stayed the same thank goodness. I spent Monday clearing out the spare room where I unearthed two pairs of jeans, a couple of tops, some underwear and leggings from the last time I was a size 18. I’ve washed them and they’re drying. I have ten bags of rubbish and at least an equal amount of bags of clothes for the charity shop!
Feeling a bit sorry for myself as I’m suffering particularly badly with my allergies/hay fever (I know it’s definitely this as on Saturday I was okay until we drove past fields full of that yellow stuff, and I was coughing, my eyes were streaming and I was sneezing. Soon as we moved past them I was okay again. I know the pollen is high in the air though and I’m feeling it. I don’t feel unwell, and it’s worse in the morning first thing and in the evening, then I’m fine rest of the day. I always suffer with the change in seasons)
    Monday’s menu:
B: Blueberries, HEXB Lizi’s granola, fat free natural Greek yoghurt.
L: Mackerel, rice (2) veg. Carefully weighed and portioned Easter egg (Green and Black’s organic dark chocolate, 4)
D- Chicken, chips and salad (4.5 for mayo and seasoning)
    S: Popchips (3.5) HiFi (3)
    Syns: 17
    Night all xx

    Hi everyone,

Well done on the losses @annabanana82 (and DD) @OWD_nana and @Mrs_Ryan :)

Sorry to hear about your hayfever/allergies @Mrs_Ryan. I too have this but it’s more grass-related, so now everyone’s cutting their lawns I’m taking a tablet every day to ward it off.

Yesterday I did a freezer/cupboard inventory, did a meal plan then DH and I went to A!di for the food shop. We had roast beef in the evening. Just the two of us but plated up a meal for DD and DS2 who were out with respective partners at the time of serving. DH managed to pour all the potatoes into the duck fat(!) plus make a cauli cheese. I had it all plus wine and Easter egg and don’t feel guilty as today is a new day!

I am the same weight naked as I was at group before my walking holiday. Will need to try very hard this week to even maintain as sure clothes are around 2lb. I normally walk to group (for an 8.30am start) and wear jeggings, tshirt and sweatshirt, but remove sweatshirt for weighing. Hoping for a heatwave on Saturday so I can wear something more flimsy lol

    Food today:

B – poached eggs, WM toast, grapes – HEB

    L – LO veg chilli, jacket potato, cheese – S, 1, HEA

D – mackerel pasta with rocket (new recipe) – 1.5 syns (for mackerel and wholegrain mustard)

    HEA – milk

    Total syns – 2.5

    Have a great day everyone,

    Coxy

Morning all, definitely cooler today but at least it's still dry!

Well done @annabanana82 and daughter and @Mrs_Ryan for your weight loss.  Good luck @Coxy11 with losing that bit you need this coming week.

It's a good job you don't live near me @Mrs_Ryan as there is loads of rape in the fields this year!  Not had any the last couple of years!

    Plan for today:

    B - breakfast hash with fried eggs - P; S; F
    L - Welsh rarebit - HEA2; HEB; P; F
    D - lamb hotpot, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.
