  • My plans for today have gone a bit off piste. Took my Daughter to work and had to wait around an hour as there were no keys to get in.
Got home and the boiler was leaking water so spent some time clearing that up, now have no heating (not a problem) or hot water until at least Tuesday, have now invited myself to my Mum's tomorrow for Sunday lunch.

Breakfast: mixed berries, FF Greek yoghurt 1x skinny crunch 1/2 Hex b

Lunch: Cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot and light babybel Hex A

Dinner: not 100% decided but likely to be Turkey Keema

Off out to walk up a hill, will most likely spend most my time on my bum coming back down as normal 🤭

Send me some sunshine please!  Well expected gain this morning has shocked me into doing something about it as it was much (much) bigger than I thought it would be!  So if anyone needs fruit and veg from Aldi, sorry, it’s all in my fridge 🤣🤣

We’re twins no more Bubbs, or I’m the naughty one but STS is better than a gain.  Had some lentil soup for lunch and have chicken marinading for tikka kebabs with salad and roasted veg for dinner. Going to have a toasted soft pitta with it.

Popped a ham joint in the slow cooker for tomorrow’s dinner too so only have veg to prep in the morning. Feeling organised, hope it continues…..

That is so frustrating @bubbs.  Your meals are always on plan (except with picky tea!) but you didn't' have that this week.  Maybe you need to book a couple of weeks holiday and eat off plan to try and shake things up a bit!  Don't know what else to suggest.

Sorry to hear you had a gain @Jellybaby even if you were expecting a gain, just not as much as it was.  Stick to plan this week and I'm sure it will come off again.  If it goes on quick it tends to come off quick.

I ended up with a chicken and bacon salad for lunch so not too bad - only trouble is it was streaky bacon so definitely some syns there but other than that OK.

Have got lamb shanks out of the freezer for dinner tomorrow at DH's request for our anniversary dinner (51 years tomorrow) - don't get that long for murder, LOL!

I'm perplexed @bubbs. ☹️ You have to get a decent loss soon. At least you know you're eating healthily. Perhaps you should have had your hair cut before WI. 🤣

I can cope with a gain if I know where it's come from @Jellybaby. Hopefully as it's gone on quickly, it'll come off quickly too. 😊

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better @joedenise

We've had a lovely day. Our team managed a win and we had lunch beforehand sitting in the sun in a cafe with a lovely garden. I had a tuna jacket with a generous salad garnish. Only syns would be in the mayo.

I've parboiled carrot chunks, parsnips and potatoes which I'm going to freeze for tomorrow. If it works I'm going to do more with the veg I bought yesterday. I love veg wars! 😁 Congratulations to the 'discounters' for doing offers on healthy foods which the other SMs have been forced to follow.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, fried eggs, bacon (P), tomatoes (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L- JP (F), tuna (P), salad (S)
    D- chicken curry (P, S), HM pilau (F)
Syns - mayo? weekend wine 😋

  • Bubbs, why don’t you spend a week doing meals you have not had before, maybe not all of them, but if you do dinners. Maybe if your tum is expecting fake kfc and you do millionaire spaghetti, it may shake up your metabolism?

A smile costs little but creates much :)
