Well, charged in for weigh & go this evening, up 1lb, but am actually going to take that as a maintain, as I didn’t have time to change into my leggings so was wearing jeans, so quite happy about it, recovered from my birthday/weekend off plan gain, which all I could hope for.A smile costs little but creates much1

Today's menu plan has gone completely to pot!
Dinner tonight just didn't happen as DD1, DGD & partner turned up just as I was about to start getting dinner ready and didn't have enough to feed an extra 3 mouths! So after they'd gone at about 8pm we ended up getting a Chinese but I was so over-hungry I didn't eat every much.
Of course I managed to choose something which isn't in the book or on line. I only ate about 1/4 of it so calling it 5 to be on the safe side. It was chicken with bamboo shoots and water chestnuts with boiled rice (so at least that was Free!).
Good to hear from you @Coxy11 - that walk certainly wouldn't appeal to me and walk round Loch Lomond sounds horrendous. You've definitely had plenty of body magic with your walk so hopefully that will translate into a good loss for you. Safe journey home.

That's a good result after your weekend away @Gettingtherequickly and you've only been back on plan since Monday. I'm really pleased for you.😊 Like you, I always wear leggings for WI and my lightest top. I think it's important to try and compare week on week.
It happens @joedenise. It's not often you have a take away and it was good to see your family. My DD1 came this afternoon but only stayed for coffee. 😁1 -
Morning all, another lovey sunny day but feeling absolutely carp! Had a sore throat when I went to bed last night and have woken up this morning with a really horrible stuffed up nose and finding it difficult to breathe easily.
Not really feeling hungry but going to try to eat some thing so today's plan:
B - stuffed mushroom with spicy couscous - S; F
L - LO Chinese, rice - P; S; F; 6
D - beef stew from freezer; mash; green veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - none planned
Syns - Chinese 6 (doubt I'll eat more than yesterday and reckon this should easily cover it!)
Have a good day everyone.

Oh dear @joedenise, I do hope you don't have Covid. There seem to be so many different symptoms at the moment. What a shame with the weather being so beautiful It's glorious here too.
Any luck getting through to Calor @bubbs? 🤔
I have my meal plan to do and a shop but I'm really short of inspiration for what to have tonight. I cleaned my fridge yesterday because it was relatively empty so very little fresh stuff to eat up. If I can't think of anything else, I'll fall back on Bolognese from the freezer.
I'm going to make a curry in a moment to have when we get back from football tomorrow. I always think it tastes better when the spices have had time to infuse. I'm going to add a tin of chickpeas today to see if I can get four portions although I did enjoy the LOs on a jacket potato last time.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, fried egg (P), baked beans (F)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), spring onions, beetroot (S)
D- tbc
Syns- weekend wine and whatever else?0 -
No it's not Covid - I tested this morning and it's negative so just a bad cold. I went to lay down for half hour before lunch, didn't sleep but got up feeling a bit better. Didn't have a good night's sleep as DH has got a hacking cough - he tested negative too. He's been like that for about 4 days now so very little sleep this week!
It's probably just as well we decided not to go away this weekend but we'll sit out in the garden from time to time as it's so warm - think it's warmer out there than indoors.

Evening all
Denise, hope you are feeling better, but keep testing alot of people are not getting positives till about day 4.
Maman, yes i did get through to Calor, they said we was fixed for a year then variable for a year, those dates were our contract 🤔 he said it was in the contract fixed then variable for the 2nd year, i said i know it's better for me, but if it was 1 year fix, 1 year variable why didn't it start in January.........no answer.
So we need to find the contract, but i have also asked them to resend it.
I have also spoken to a neighbour as we are all on the same, she has not collected her post yet, but she is also going to look for her contract.
What a glorious day, we have been out in the garden all day, not long had tea.
I had ham and beetroot soft pitta and cherry toms
Fake kfc, salad and few chips
