@bubbs - I've still got access to my old group's Facebook page and some of the stuff they post on there, yuk! My current group isn't very active at all and very rarely post pictures of their food but I get the impression from group that a lot of them don't really cook just use a lot of the frozen meals from Iceland!
One of the things posted today is that the Food Warehouse has got a freezer full of SW meals reduced! I wouldn't give them house room - quite happy cooking my own syn free meals and I know what's gone into them!

I know and i also think how the hell can that fill you up? some just have a little bit on the plate but then want to know what snacks they can have, fill your plant up and you won't want to be eating snacks all day!Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:1

I'm another that rarely snacks but I can understand that some people are in the habit of snacking, especially in the evening, and would need a SW alternative. I used to be dreadful with cheese and crackers but I know it was just a habit, which I have cracked (excuse pun 😉) and prefer to have large, healthy meals. I suppose that ready meals have a place for people in a hurry but even when I worked silly hours I would do some batch cooking at weekends so I had stuff in the freezer.
I don't do FB but I can't imagine anyone would come up to the standards of your meals or presentation @bubbs! 🤣2 -
I do eat a fair few of the SW meals but usually it’s because my fibro/ME is kicking my backside and I’m too exhausted/sore to cook. Also the lunch pots are handy for me- quick and easy as I only have a limited lunch break.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.202

Morning all, another lovely day so have decided to change the bedding today. It's in the machine at the moment so will hang it out shortly.
@Mrs_Ryan - I agree there is a place for the SW ready meals for some people, particularly like you with your fibro/ME but the people I'm talking about all seem to be fairly active, probably more so than me, and just use them because they can't be bothered to cook and that's a real difference to needing to have something quick easily available.
When I was working full time and my travelling time was over an hour each way, I still cooked every night and made packed lunches to DH and I to take into work. As I was leaving home before 6 in the morning I used to keep a tub of yoghurt in the fridge at work and would take in fruit to have with it for breakfast most mornings - except Fridays when I used to treat myself to a fruit bun (in the days before SW obviously!). With my final boss he used to take me to breakfast in the works cafeteria on Fridays so it was usually porridge with fruit then or occasionally a fry up if I wanted it.
Today's plan:
B - fruit, yoghurt, topped with sugar free Simply Granola - HEB; S; F
L - stuffed mushroom - HEA2; S; F
D - savoury mince & beans, mash, green veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - Simply Granola (you only get 35g of this!)
Syns - not sure but thinking I might make the PON carrot cakes which work out at 1 syn each if you make 6 from the mix as I have some small carrots which need using up.
Have a good day everyone.
Edit: change of plan for lunch! Have made some scotch eggs so had one with some salad. Will have the stuffed mushroom tomorrow lunchtime instead.

Agree with you those are definitely small meals! Have you measured yourself @bubbs to see if you've lost inches? It's a definite NSV if you have. I think I have as my trousers are definitely looser - they keep slipping down but fortunately only to my hips and I'm indoors today anyway!
I made the carrot cakes but I didn't have any cake cases (no point keeping them when I don't generally make cakes!) but I've got a silicon 12 hole pan which I quite small so used that and got 12 carrot cakes from the mix - shouldn't really call them cakes they are so small so perhaps I'll call them carrot cake bites - they're about 2 bites big - so 0.5 syn each. They're OK but not sure I'll bother again.

Denise, no and like a fool i never measured in the start! So wouldn't know 🙄
