Well done @Jellybaby on your loss and SOTW; I've only ever won that once and that was the first Christmas/New Year WIs as I was the only one to have a loss both weeks!  Only half each week - trouble with winning it then was that there was only about 4 people bothered to put anything in the basket!

Well done on your loss @Coxy11 - that's a great loss when you had no control over your food during your walk.  Good luck for 1.5lb off this week even with eating out a couple of times it's doable.

Have finally finished all the holiday washing - ended up doing it myself rather than going to the launderette as we'd planned as needed to help our friend out this morning which was when we were going to do it.  It's all on the line now so hopefully it will be dry before it gets dark!  Will need to get it in around dinner time as it's forecast to rain overnight so no point in leaving it out!

Excellent result @Jellybaby! 👏👏👏 Great to see all your hard work paying off over the 2 weeks. 👍

You did well to get that pound off after take aways @room512. 👏👏👏 Hope you can get back on plan ASAP.

The Body Magic seems to have paid off @Coxy11. 👏👏👏I'm sure you'll do your best to choose wisely when eating out but that's not always possible. Draw a line and go from Monday. 😊

Have you managed to do the shopping between all the washing @joedenise? 🤔

I'm trying to make a version of the Morrison's Mexican chicken tonight, using salsa as a sauce. It's only 0.5 syns per tbsp so we'll see how it goes.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA 1 milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), mushrooms, tomatoes (S)
    L- JP, baked beans (F), salad (S)
    D- Mexican chicken (P, S, HEA2), SW chips (F), green stuff (S)
Syns - half Crunchie 3, salsa 2? weekend wine 😁

@maman - Have managed to do some shopping in the next town but still want to go to the local town to get some more!  Still heavenly got any yoghurt which I use quite of lot of so really missing that.  But at least I've got quite a lot fruit and veg so I've got some Speed to use.

Going to see DD2 tomorrow and she's making us a spinach and butternut squash lasagne for lunch (only a few syns for the cheese sauce - I'll count my 2nd HEA for the cheese - so only syns for the cornflour).  Looking forward to that as not had a lasagne for quite a while!

Not sure if I mentioned it but  bought a whole salmon at Morrisons as it's on special offer at £7 something a Kg.  That's been prepped and portioned into the freezer.  Wasn't a planned purchase so not in the menu plan at the moment but no doubt it'll end up somewhere as a substitute!

Morning all, it's very grey this morning but we haven't got the rain which was forecast so better than expected.

Going to visit DD2 today, just hoping the traffic isn't too bad as she lives near part of the marathon route so probably not the best day for visiting.  She's cooking lunch for us which will be fairly SW friendly - a butternut squash and spinach lasagne so quite Speedy as well.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry with sausage and bacon - P; S; F; 1
    L - butternut squash and spinach lasagne - will count cheese sauce as HEA + 1;
D - duck breast, roasted veg, cabbage - P; S; 3 (will be having the fat on the duck!)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - milk/cheese in cheese sauce
    HEB - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

You'll have to give a review of the Bournemouth fish and chip shop @bubbs. It's an easy journey for us and would make a nice treat. 😋

I hope your journey isn't too disrupted by the marathon @joedenise. It was gridlock here yesterday with a football match, new students and no trains. The lasagne sounds delicious. We haven't had it for a while but it's so much more SW friendly since the extra HEA was introduced. DH particularly loves it so I'll put it on the menu soon.

The Mexican chicken was quite successful last night and we'll definitely have it again. It could have been a bit more spicy for me but that's because I played safe and bought mild salsa.

I've got some pasta sauce LO from Friday so will fry up some lardons and veg for my lunch.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, ham scrambled eggs (P), HEA milk for drinks
    L- bacon and veg pasta (P, S, F)
    D- HB steaks (P, S), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns- weekend wine😁 I'm ignoring the shared tsp of cornflour in the HB gravy. 🤣
