@Vegastare - suspect the sauces were more than 6 syns each!  Full fat mayo is 5 syns per Tbs!  No doubt there was quite a lot more mayo that a Tbs in each.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.  I'd say it was probably nearer 25-30 syns so try and cut back for the rest of the week to make up for it!

Thanks everyone, spoke to Mum, she said she was a wreck by half 12 when he wasn't back after the heart attack before and not being told.
The receptionist came to speak to her and see if she was ok, she said no i am really worried about my  husband as they said he would be going down first being diabetic and not being able to eat, so she went to find out, he was last 😡 and was just going down!!
Everything went ok, they was pleased with what they saw but took some biopsies , still not had MRI and sees cancer nurse Tuesday so that will be cancelled!

I said bet he was starving she said yes, she was worried about him getting up in the night to eat but as it happens was up every hr changing his bag :( but had latched the door so she would hear it if he went for his normal midnight feast 🤣 she heard it go once and said what are you doing? He said going toilet , so Mum said you are going wrong way 🤣

Just caught up and pleased that you've heard from your mum now @bubbs. You'd have thought that your dad would be higher up the list with being diabetic. It's not about feeling hungry but he needs to eat. ☹️

Good to see you had more to eat today. 👍

Ron and Bradley sound a nice pair @Coxy11. 😁

Morning all, glad you managed to speak to your mum and have your mind put at rest.  Whatever were the hospital playing at by not putting your dad early in the list - sometimes wonder if the professionals understand about the regular eating needed by diabetics!

Have been for a blood test this morning at the hospital in the next town - I was trying before we went on holiday to get an appointment at the local hospital but just kept getting a message to say call back later or send us a copy of your blood form with your preferred date!  What's the point whatever I'd put they would probably of come back with that day/time isn't convenient!  Decided it was easier just to go to the next town as they still have a walk in clinic.

Now need to make an appointment to see the nurse at the main surgery in a couple of weeks time - our doctors still aren't dealing with patients it's all left to the nurses unless there's a problem!

Managed to get 3 machine loads of washing done, dried and put away yesterday.  Hoping to get another 2 done today.  That will just leave the bedding to do plus a bag I'm going to take to the launderette to wash and dry with the forecast not being brilliant - don't like doing light coloured stuff at the launderette but quite happy to do the darks!  Not sure when I'll do that but sometime in the next few days.

    Today's plan:

    B - bacon & blue cheese omelette, slice of WM bread - P; 8
    L - cheese and tomato sandwich - HEA2; HEB; S
    D - corned beef hash - S; F; 4

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - bread 3.5; butter 2; blue cheese 2.5; corned beef 4

Bit higher syns than I'd have liked but still using up stuff which I've got in as not been shopping yet.  Will be going later today but not leaving until 11.30ish as picking up my friend to take her to the station as she needs to get to Canterbury for a hospital appointment and she'd have had to had caught the bus to the nearest station at 9.45 in order to get to the next town for the train to get her to Canterbury - it's ridiculous sending her that far to a hospital but they have a specialist eye department.

Really will need to knuckle down and get those syns down a bit over the next couple of weeks if I'm going to have any chance of shifting the excess lbs!

    Have a good day everyone.

It's hard when you have stuff to use up @joedenise but mse has to come before SW, particularly now when it's more important than ever not to waste anything.

You did well to get all that washing done. 👍

We've got a change of plan today. I was going to have Bolognese from the freezer for dinner but DD1 brought us some Pret tuna salads (too late for lunch) . I'll have DH's egg and give him any slivers of olives. I'll do potatoes with it to make it more substantial. The Bolognese can wait for another day as I hadn't taken it out to defrost.

I've got a week to my next WI. I'm feeling fatter today as put thermal leggings on for my walk and although they're much warmer, they're tighter too! 🤣

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, bacon, 2 fried eggs (P)
L- cold meat (P), fried potato and vegetable hash (F, S), beetroot and cornichons (S)
    D- tuna nicoise salad (P, S), potatoes (F)
    Syns - LTL mayo 1

    B porridge raspberries and yog
L baked beans grilled toms and slice toast
D Chicken breast wrapped in bacon, mushrroms broc SW chips

    HEB Porridge  HEA Milk

Syns skinny bar 3 toast 3.5syns.

    That's a great loss @Vegastare. Well done! 👏👏👏

Yesterday's syns probably haven't caught up yet but you can probably sort that out in the coming week so no worries.

Fortunately, I rarely have blood tests but it's always an ordeal finding a vein. ☹️

Glad Ddad is okay @bubbs xx

Completely shattered - walked solo today for 16 miles into Lockerbie. Dsis has Achilles injury and dippy tummy so caught the bus and had to hang around for me to arrive. It took me 6 hours with a 20 minute stop to eat a tuna sarnie and a toilet and tea break at a truckers cafe!

Eating at the hotel tonight and hoping for vegetables!

Well done to the losers and hope everyone’s doing okay xx

Good to hear from you @Coxy11. Are you making for the border? 🤔

Enjoyed our dinner especially as it was a freebie. By giving the olives to DH and having LTL mayo instead of the Pret dressing, it was almost syn free. I really enjoy the LTL mayo (mine is Hellmanns), can't believe how low syn it is. 😋
