Lashing it down here too @joedenise and it's cold and miserable. ☹️

I suppose it's understandable that your dad should think along those lines with what he's going through @bubbs. Doesn't make it any easier to cope with for all of you though. πŸ€—

Is it Whitby for the fish and chips? πŸ˜‹

I'm having an alcohol free and so a syn free Friday to give myself half a chance for WI next Thursday. Didn't help that Sainsburys had 25% wine today. ☹️

That's a change for you, venturing down South @bubbs ! I really like the museum/art gallery in Bournemouth but maybe that's not your kind of thing. It'll be good to have a break though and relax. 😊

Apparently 1 million + people have Covid at the moment. It hasn't gone away. ☹️

Good morning everyone. Β I am finally starting to feel human again. I haven’t had Covid before and hope I don’t get it again. Still can’t smell and feel exhausted but hopefully back to work on Monday. Β Haven’t followed SW at all for the last two weeks, we have lived on TA and ready meals. Β I have lost 1lb this week and OH has STS and we will get back on to it on Tuesday properly once I can get my head around meal planning!

Sorry to hear about your dad @bubbs and hope you have a nice holiday.

Morning all, it's a bit brighter today after the torrential rain yesterday afternoon and evening, hope it stays like it!

Good luck to everyone going to WI this morning. Β Hope the scales are kind to you.

Hope you got home safely @Coxy11 - you did really well on your walk. Β Don't think I could do anything like that amount of walking! Β A couple of hours walking is enough for me but certainly feel better afterwards. Β

Pleased to hear you are feeling more human now @room512 and hopefully your sense of smell will return soon. Β Well done on losing lb even if it was because you weren't well. Β Doesn't matter how it goes as long as it does!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - LF sausage, bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans - P; S; F; 1
    L - spicy carrot and lentil soup - P; S
    D - chicken curry, rice - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
HEB - none planned but may have a slice of bread with my soup at lunchtime
Syns - LF sausage 1; may have a glass of wine or 3 tonight but not decided yet!

    Have a good day everyone.

PS didn't;t have the bread with the soup at lunchtime so still have HEA2 and HEB to use this evening if I want something.

Hope you feel back to normal soon @room512 and a loss is a loss, so we’ll done.

The scales were very kind to me with four off 😳 I also got slimmer of the week which was a nice surprise and even better, reduced my shopping down too 😁. Β Mother was out of her normal routine last week going to Lidl instead of Aldi so it was back to β€˜normal’ today. Β My dad was asking questions about MECS as well which shocked me a bit as they’ve vehemently refused to discuss it in the past.

So far food has been lots of coffee, ham salad roll and nectarines and dinner is spaghetti bolognaise with Parmesan.

    Hi everyone,

Very quick one from me as it's DD's 21st birthday today so she's back for the weekend. Got home around 8pm last night and was so glad to have an Epsom salt bath with side order of rum n coke! Hit my bed at 9pm!

WI this morning with a 3lb loss - just 1.5lb and I'll be in a new number which I haven't seen since before Covid.

Sorry to hear your DDad saying that @bubbs - it's not easy for any of you xx Hope your DSis has mild symptoms xx
Hope you feel brighter soon @room512 xx
Well done on your loss @Jellybaby and also SOW - I've never had that - ever.....! xx

Sorry I know I've missed loads of posts/news. Just need to get back into the swing of things. Determined to be on plan this week and have another loss next weekend. DH and I will eat out tonight as DD is going out with BF. Will choose wisely and will be driving. We also have a family Sunday lunch out tomorrow, so will have to be super-good.
