It seems you are maintaining amazingly @bubbs! ☹️☹️☹️ Really not fair. We'll have such a celebration when you get a loss. 😁
You had an excellent loss @room512. Brilliant! 👏👏👏 It's probably a hangover from last week as often SW takes a while to catch up.
So many posters feeling rough. I do hope you get well soon.
I've had a few syns tonight for some coleslaw and a small piece of cheesecake but less than a normal meal out.
Back on plan properly tomorrow and a good week ahead. 🤞0 -
Fab loss @room512 👏👏 and I’m joining you on the STS wagon @bubbs 🤣 A little disappointed after all the effort I put in with doing SP but it may catch up next week.Bought a humongous pack of cooking bacon from Lidl for £1.49, first time I’ve seen it in there. Copying your tip @maman chopping it up for the freezer but thinking I’ll put some lentil soup in the slow cooker and make some pasta sauces while I’m at it.
DS is out (again! wonder if I should start looking at hats😂😂😂) so can have what I fancy for dinner.0 -
Hi all, I posted an intro to be and my journey on an old thread and can't figure out how to copy of over on my tablet! The basics of it are that I had major success on SW before lockdown, but during and since lockdown I've undone all my hard work.
Time for a fresh start. I have done my meal plan for the week and spent this morning meal prepping my lunches to take into the office and the main part of evening meals. On the menu this week I have SW potato and onion baiji frittata and salad for lunches and pasta Bolognese and chill for evening meals.
Wish me luck!0 -
Welcome @lozenlady. I noticed that @ruby_eskimo had redirected you to the current thread. What a shame you didn't find us during lockdown! 🤣You are doing all the right things getting prepared for the week ahead. I'm a great believer that planning (and Speed food) are the most important elements of SW. 😊
Are you going back to your group or going it alone? Do ask if there's anything you want to know.
I'm sure you're right that the week of SP will show up @Jellybaby but it's frustrating when weightloss doesn't fall neatly into weekly results. ☹️
Hope the poorlies are on the mend. 😊
I'm feeling really tired after my 10 days or so of eating out and all the dashing about. Not too tired to make a nice roast for today though. 😁
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S), banana (F)
L- veggie omelette (P, S), ham (P), beetroot, cornichons, tomatoes (S)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes, LM stuffing balls (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - HM gravy 4, weekend wine 😁

@lozenlady - I can only echo your story with SW, last weigh in late Jan 2020 still in target after Xmas then lockdown and the jitters since at attending a large group...so came here - it was a great support right at the start of journey and is again now. Super loss @room512.
B porridge and blues
L bacon egg beans and toms
D roast beef baby pots cauli and broc Y Pud. gravy
HEA Milk
HEB porridge
Syn agave syrup lite 0.5 york pud 3 syns gravy instant 3
I am not sure of yorkshires one recipe I found is just as I always make them but spraying tin so will go with that.0 -
@maman my work makes it really difficult to rejoin a group as I can be away from home for overnight stays at late notice, but I did like the accountability of going every week. I have a new book from earlier this year courtesy of a friend, so I think I'll try it alone and see how I get on, this thread will be much appreciated.
Has anyone tried the online version?0 -
Morning all! Sorry to hear about all of the people who are poorly and hope you're feeling better soon! Well done on the loss @room512 and I'm joining you on the STS bus @bubbs and @Jellybaby, which I'll take after a not very on plan weekend.
But back to it today 👍 Had some yogurt and raspberries this morning for breakfast. Lunch is going to be soup with some bread and then dinner is a jacket potato with veggie chilli from the freezer, cheese and salad. Have planned in some workout time after work followed by a long walk so really trying to get back on track. 4 weeks till Lisbon and 4 lbs till my interim target. We got this!

Morning all, Wi-Fi has been carp recently so not spent much time online. Weather has really turned today and after another sleepless night due to the rain and it still raining quite heavily we’ve made the decision to come home tomorrow. I’ve rebooked the train for tomorrow afternoon and it’s only cost an extra £24 to change is still cheaper than staying overnight for another 3 days!
Quite honestly I’ll be glad to get back on plan properly as it’s only been most evening meals which have been on plan. Lunches definitely have not been. Breakfasts have been sort of on plan but with added baguette or pain raisin!
Welcome to all the newbies and good luck with your journeys. Will be back to posting regularly from Wednesday.
