Morning all! Another one who's been busy at work (doing lots of things that aren't my actual role but hey ho!) Hope the walk goes well @Coxy11. We might be going to Glasgow next year (it's all dependent on where Eurovision is being held, yes I'm determined to go!)
Managed a walk after work Wednesday and Thursday and feeling a lot better for it. Might almost be back to "normal" now. Quick breakfast of branflakes this morning with split pea soup for lunch. Dinner tonight is chicken and lentil curry from the freezer with some rice and I might treat myself to a beer this evening too, depends on how I feel.
Hope everyone has a good day!

I didn't know you were a Eurovision fan @ruby_eskimo? When's the decision on the venue? 🤔
It's all go for me too but fortunately on the social side not work. 😁 I'm secretly looking forward to Sunday when things quieten down and I can get back to my usual habits.
Our meal last night was delicious and not hugely synful. It was an Italian restaurant which pleasingly is as good now as last time we ate there. I had a super starter of salmon mousse wrapped in smoked salmon. There was avocado and 2 thin slices of sourdough to syn. My main was chicken wrapped in prosciutto with new potatoes, spinach and mushrooms so a good choice. We shared a bottle of wine but had a (tiny) ice cream at the theatre.
Tonight it's out to eat again. It's a friend's birthday so not sure whether it's the normal menu advertised or they've chosen something. Will report back.
I've had a SW fry up for breakfast and lunch will be anything I can find as I've not done my shop yet. Probably a JP with something. 🤔
Have a good day all. Not seen @bubbs for a couple of days, hope she's not too poorly. ☹️0 -
@ruby_eskimo I keep forgetting about Eurovision. If it is Glasgow easy to gage look at Glasgow Crowne Plaza hotel if it's showing full - it's Glasgow right next door to venue. Hope the walking is good @Coxy11 and you have a good strong pair boots.
So Dr (new at surgery) was decent although all by phone...I have to have blood tests to try and rule out different things...so will see how that goes. Today went out with Hubs to Anglesey - bit overcast then by lunch turned into nice afternoon, we went a lovely walk on what is my fav beach with doggy then had late lunch.....naughty me jacket pot with salad and prawns marie rose.
Didn't end there as had a latte and sharing half a scone with jam and cream, oh forgot the butter on scone too.
Dinner was more back on track with baked fish grilled baby toms and broc and green beans.
So think will leave the SW totting up for today.
Must admit I felt earlier this week hubs plan to take me out on his long weekend wouldn't happy so thrilled it did.
Have a good weigh in tomorrow and will catch up tomorrow.

Pleased to hear you've been busy @bubbs because was a bit worried you were too unwell to post your usual lovely meals.
Seems, for different reasons, many of us have been off plan this week. Caution really went to the wind for me tonight and I've had curry and poppadoms and birthday cake and all sorts. All delicious and a waste of time even trying to calculate syns. It's been a great evening though catching up with some friends we've not seen since pre Covid.
I know tomorrow's meal out will be a better bet as mainly cold meats with salads but can't wait for Sunday to start getting back to normal. 😊0 -
Morning everyone. WI today. Amazingly I have lost 6lb and OH 3lb. We are both really ill with Covid and haven’t been on plan at all this week. We have had take away every day as we are both unable to cook anything. I was offered antivirals but it meant going to the hospital and being put on a drip for 30 minutes. I had no way of getting to the hospital as family live a long way away and everyone was at work. So decided to let my body fight it. Hopefully we will be on the mend soon. I hope everyone else who is feeling rough feels better.0

Afternoon all
Been a !!!!!! week 🥺
Hubby has been very poorly, then tested positive last Friday as did son! I came home from work feeling rough but was negative. Hubby had infusion at the hospital and also has to be isolated during dialysis for 10 days 🥺. As they got better, I got worse ending with laryngitis 🥴. So been off work all week, son went back Thursday. I hope to go back Monday although still coughing through the night, feeling breathless easily too.
Have a good weekend all!Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
