Morning everyone, chilly here and I'm quite 'sniffy' - hoping it's not the start of something...

    Get well soon @vegastare, @ruby_eskimo and @bubbs x

Going to A!di soon with DS2 and his GF. Need to get our shopping plus his first weeks' food as he's off to uni this afternoon. Just hoping everything fits in the car as he now wants to take his guitar as well....

Food today will be on the hoof. I've had 2 Nev!lles toast with 2 tsp jam for breakfast. Will eat at home before we leave at 2pm. Not sure about dinner but will be on plan.

    Have a good day all,
    Coxy

So pleased you got antibiotics @Vegastare. Hopefully you'll soon be on the mend.

It's been quite an eventful week for you @Coxy11. You did well to get STS. 👍

Supper was much as expected last night. I did have a slice of quiche as I was sitting next to the lady who made it so it would have been rude not to. Plus various dressings but no wine syns so helped to rein in the birthday drinks earlier in the week.

I called into Morrison's for fishcakes as I was nearby and don't often get the chance. I was lucky as they were just bringing out YS items. I got a chicken for 45p! That's in the freezer. I also bought a couple of in date chicken meals (also 45p) which we'll have over the next couple of days. I'll live with the syns in the sauces for that price!

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, fried egg, bacon (P), baked beans (F), HEA milk for drinks
    L- ham (P), LO potato salad (F, S), salad bits (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P, S), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - minimal LTL mayo, cornflour 1, weekend wine 😁

Oh no! Sprouts season is upon us @bubbs . ☹️🤣

It seems lots of colds too. It must be a change in the weather. We've had a lovely, sunny day but really chilly this evening.

I know the old saying says 'feed a cold' and that's OK but it has to be on plan! 😁 I'm sure Lemsip would have syns. 🤔

    Morning everyone,

Bonkers day yesterday but pleased to say we managed to shoehorn everything into the car, including guitar and stand! DS2 has a lovely room, was listed as a single room but bed is a small double so the fitted single sheets don't fit! We took two double duvets sets so he's using the spare duvet cover as a sheet until he can get to town to buy some sheets - tomorrow earliest as today is a BH and shops had already shut yesterday when we dropped him off. We took him to A!di and stocked him up with food so he should be okay for a while. He was super-nervous though about meeting his flatmates (3 girls and 2 other boys). His GF was distraught, not helped by DH running over her foot with our car - numpty....

Today we will be watching the funeral then upcycling a piece of furniture for the office.

    Food today:
B - melon, kiwi, banana, grapes - Free
L - mixed sweet pepper and cheese omelette, salad leaves, pickles - HEA, P, S
D - Tom Kerridge chicken and mascarpone - will SW-ify it, so 3 syns
    HEA - milk
    HEB - hi fi bar
    Syns - 3

Get well soon @vegastare - I hope the ABs kick in soon, and @bubbs xx I too have the beginnings of a cold, so am dosing up with cold and flu capsules.

    Have a good day all
