I think maybe she was just tired and stressed, it had been a busy morning at the first group and she had a whole new lot to get through.

I was rather taken aback though as I thought once I explained what had happened, she would allow it but I think she took one look at the queue behind and went into panic/stress mode.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

    Good morning everyone,

Lovely meal last night but felt quite uncomfortable on the bus home! Think it was the breadbasket which we demolished - oh dear.... I had mozzarella to start with figs and honey drizzle, then fillet of beef with cavello nero and broccoli with a little creamy mash. Pudding was cinnamon puff pastry with apple compote and vanilla sorbet. I had one gin and slimline (FT unfortunately, but given everything else, a drop in the ocean of synfulness!). They bought me out a small cupcake at the end but I've bought it home as couldn't manage it!! Just not used to that amount of food.

Today I will be finishing work at lunchtime to go queue for the lying-in-state as boss said 'go for it' so I will! I will meet BFF at 1.30pm and lord knows what time we will get into the hall as the queue is currently 11 hours long! I think I will be getting the night bus home at this rate... I will take snacks of fruit and water but tbh I'm so stuffed from last night, today's fast will do me good.

Hope everyone has a good day.

  • Morning all.  Meal sounds great @Coxy11 and good luck with the queue today 👍  Well done on the loss @Vegastare and one cupcake shouldn't make too much difference for the rest of the week (I hope!)

DH treated me to Nandos last night before we went to see our show; had a rubbish day at work so a little treat was much needed.  Enjoyed both dinner and the show, however have woken up this morning with a head full of cold so think that was probably contributing to my bad mood yesterday.  Back on the lemsip and hoping that it will pass.

No real appetite this morning but might make some porridge in a bit to warm me up and have soup leftover for lunch if I want that.  Dinner tonight is a pork stir fry which I think DH can be trusted to make 😆

Hope you all have a good day and weekend.

Really chilly this morning so socks, trainers and a fleece top have been looked out.  It feels too early to start with the warmer clothes though.

Your meal sounds delish @Coxy11 and I hope your wait in the queue passes quickly!

Well done, fab loss again @Vegastare :)

    Today's food:
    B - nectarines, f/f Greek yoghurt
    L - tuna salad
D - beans on toast (HEXB) - DS is out tonight and I fancy this :)

My jeans feel slightly looser this week but from past experience this means nothing and WI could go any way tomorrow!

    Have a fab day all!

That does sound like a delicious meal @Coxy11. Syns are worth it provided you enjoy them. 😋 I did read that extra late night transport is being laid on to help people get home from London, so hope all goes well.

It seems you were sickening for your cold and, 'one degree under' as they used to say @ruby_eskimo. Hope the Lemsip does the trick.

I felt cold yesterday evening for the first time for months @Vegastare. Like you I've put a hoody and socks on and last night I wrapped myself in a fleecy throw when I was watching tv. I fear there'll be a lot more of that coming! 🤣 I do hope you do get a loss but, you're right, feeling thin often means nothing.

Hope your shopping trip with the parents goes well @bubbs. I'm sure they enjoy getting out to somewhere other than hospital appointments.

I've done my meal plan and shopping list for the week and realised I'll be eating out 3 times in the next seven days, starting with tonight. We're just going to the pub to watch football. I'm hoping for steak and salad and 🤞🏼 a JP to go with it.

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, fried eggs, ham (P), mushrooms (S), HEA milk for drinks
    L- LO casserole (P, F, S), beetroot and cornichons (S)
    D- tbc
    Syns- weekend wine ++??

    Afternoon all D

Coxy glad you had a nice meal, hope you are not queuing long

Yes was very nippy last night and this morning, they even said on the weather we could have a frost last night, we didn't but brrrr!! Even when we was shopping i said to Mum i am freezing!

When i walked in i said are you ok? Mum said don't know how i am, Dad didn't sleep at all last night, i said to Dad hear you have been naughty again 😂, he said so they say 🤣🤣🤣, i said why are you not sleeping? i don't know he said, then he said he was cold, Mum said you will be if you chuck the quilt off , they are like a comedy act 😂

He has his cataract appointment 15th Dec at 7.15 😱 i can tell you now the night before he won't sleep, oh just realised Mum's birthday as well

When we went shopping i said to Mum bloody hell the prices are going up week after week. Lidl had no cornflakes, no deodorant, no fig rolls, no jakemans sweets for dad , 1 jar of ovaltine 😂 they have had this before bed since we were kids but used to have it made with milk, now water, this was just out of what Mum wanted loads of empty spaces. Morrisons wasn't much better!

    Food today
    ham and melon

lunch i grabbed 2 satsuma and a few grapes, then when i got home at 3 i had a couple of slices of ham

Tea i have fake KFC, chips and salad
