We had rain in the night and a bit this morning but nothing like you had @bubbs. It's back to warm and sunny now. 😎
Hope it's been a good day at work for you ending the project @Coxy11 and you starting afresh @room512. Until I started SW, and heard some of the back stories in my group, I'd never thought about the emotional side of eating. 🤔
I try to vary my menu each week. It does largely depend on what I have in the freezer and how much time I have to cook each day. About the only thing we have every week is spaghetti Bolognese because we really like it and it's about the fastest meal as I always batch cook the sauce. I'm always up for new ideas though and adapting things to make them SW friendly.
We're eating out on Thursday evening this week and, looking through my diary, for the rest of the month I need to be careful not to go off plan too often. I must check when my next WI day is.
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HES1 milk for drinks, scrambled eggs (P)
L- cold chicken (P), fried vegetables and pickles (S)
D- Austrian ham hash (P, F, S, HEA2 cheese topping ), cauli, broccoli, cabbages (S)

Do you use dried coriander in the soup @bubbs? I must try and make some as soup weather will soon be with us. My DH tells me that he doesn't like soup but then comes home and says he's had it for lunch. 🤔
I must buy a gammon joint too. I love lentil soup made from the stock. I've tried stock cubes but it's not the same.
I dug out my steamer today. It's just one of those that goes over a saucepan but it was fine for cooking all the veg on one ring.0 -
Yes i use dried in it, fresh on the top to look posh 🤣🤣

Never mind @beanielou. Just draw that line and plod on. 😊 I hope you managed to enjoy your birthday despite the chest infection. 🤗
Like you @bubbs, I'd just have the soup for lunch. It's not a proper meal on its own. Plums look delicious. Are they from your friend?
Torrential rain and lightning now. ⚡🌧️
