That's a huge disappointment @Coxy11. Obviously the fact nobody thought to include you in breakfast plans but also the measly offerings for the evening guests.
I know, in this case, the choices would be down to the couple but I think the hospitality industry could be shooting themselves in the foot. I don't think it's deliberate though, there are massive staffing issues and the ever increasing costs.
I've been watching the TV programme about the Europa in Belfast and its sister hotels. It's quite high end but one hotel was using their handyman to cook breakfasts!
Try to draw a line and look forward to the new week. 🤗0 -
CoXy, how horrible of the people you gave a lift too 😢

I have a question that I thought someone may be able to answer. If I have left overs, but it includes my HEA and eat it the next day then do I count it as a new HEA? For example, I couldn’t eat all my pasta tonight so will eat it tomorrow but it has a cheese topping as it contained my HEA. So do I count it tomorrow or just eat it as it was from today? Does that make sense? I don’t want to sabotage myself unintentionally!

If it’s only using one HEA I count it the day I eat it and any leftovers are free to eat. If it uses two HEA I count one each day. No idea if this is correct but it’s what I’ve been doing!Does anyone use a steamer? Would you recommend? Was thinking another idea for cutting energy as well as being healthy of course.0

Funnily enough someone asked at group about hexa Saturday, she said if you don't eat it all on the day, you count again on the day you eat the left oversSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance:0

I think @Jellybaby is along the right lines @room512. Most of us rarely use 2 full HEAs every day so you've probably got some 'spare' HEA on the day you use your leftovers. I know tomorrow I've got a small amount of swede and carrot mash with cheese topping that will go into my bubble and squeak but it's insignificant in the scheme of things. I suppose it depends how close you are each week to the full 105 syns allowed. If you're not sure then estimate what part of the 6 syns or so is left over.
I used to have an electric steamer. I got rid of it because it took up space and was a faff washing up all the layers. I do have a steamer that goes over a saucepan. At the moment I cook things like potatoes and carrots in the same pan but I'm thinking I should use the steamer for other veg. When I post I've had 'green stuff', I cook things like broccoli, asparagus and sugar snaps in the same saucepan but I'm sure steaming over potatoes would be more economical.
Lovely pics of this week's food @bubbs. That's another mse tip to plan meals to use up what you have in. Lots don't. ☹️ Have you seen programmes like Eat Well for Less where people just buy random stuff without a list and throw masses away?🤔

Maman yes and then they wonder why they spend £200 odd a week 🙈

Hi everyone,
In the office today so an early start to my day. I actually went to bed at 8.50pm last night as just mentally exhausted. Only woke once during the night as we had heavy rain and thunder and our small window was open.
Last day on this project so just need to handover with a colleague later today. WFH tomorrow - hurrah.
Food today:
B - overnight oats with frozen whole cherries and mullerlight vanilla - HEB, 0.5
L - LO biryani veg rice, melon, grapes - all free, some S
D - minced beef hash - free
HEA - milk
Syns - skinny whip bar - forgot to put a hifi in my bag today so this was from B00ts - 4.5 syns
Hope your first day goes well @room512 xx
