    Wow! That's a good plan @bubbs.

What about having a sandwich when you need more syns? It would cover your HEB +6? Or have a wholemeal roll or something like that with your breakfasts on the go? 🤔

That’s fantastic planning @bubbs.  I’m trying to shake my meals up a bit as I’m terrible for eating the same things for weeks on end if I find something I really like!

Morning everyone.  Wow, that sounds a fantastic menu for the week @bubbs.  I am like @Jellybaby where I find something I like and then eat it for weeks on end and then get fed up.  That’s what happened last time I did SW years ago so this time I am making more of an effort to try new things.

Well done to everyone who lost this week and commiserations to those who didn’t.

Back to work tomorrow.  I am starting a new role as a Teaching Assistant.  It is at the same school where I worked as a teacher for 20+ years.  I got made redundant last August and tried supply work for a year but I hated it.  I ended up at my old school for the last term doing my old job as a teacher wasn’t well.  Had enough of teaching as it has changed so much. Too much paperwork and accountability but I love being with the children.  So decided to apply for a TA job. I will be working in Reception which I love and am really looking forward to it.  Just need to see if we can cope on the money as it is really poorly paid and my OH doesn’t work due to MH problems.  Hopefully it will be okay and I have a year to see if it is affordable. If not then next September I will have to go back to supply teaching.

Food wise at work I should be okay although I suffer with my tummy and so I am going to try yogurt and fruit for breakfast, hi fi bars and fruit at work and then maybe a snack when I get home.  I would rather not eat in the middle of the day as I can’t keep running off to the toilet.  It used to work so I will see, if not then back to the drawing board.  Biscuits I can resist as I tend not to go in the staff room as Early Years don’t have a break in the morning.

Food wise today I am going to cook a gammon joint as that seemed better value than ham.

B - egg wraps with sausage
L - prawn cocktail with salad and jacket potato.  Thanks for the recipe for Marie Rose yesterday @maman.  OH had made one up and it was practically identical. Was delicious.
D - ham and pineapple pasta bake
fruit throughout the day.  Made frozen yogurt successfully yesterday and that was
    lovely too.
HEA - cheese in the pasta bake
    HEB- hi fi bars
syns - packet of crisps and syns in the MR sauce.  Maybe some chocolate orange as I discovered some white chocolate orange left over from pre diet!

I didn't notice the 2 x HEBs either @bubbs but you could still have it and count 6 more syns. Did you keep in touch with the lady who was also trying to increase her syns? 🤔

I plan a week ahead but only for dinners. I've always done it, even before SW as it prevents waste and I like shopping with a list as it's much quicker.

DH has a mental list of SW friendly breakfasts that he rotates. I explained to him what was OK when I first started and make sure we've always got ingredients like bacon, eggs, beans, porridge etc. I mostly have LOs for lunch and cook extra deliberately.

@joedenise, plans a month ahead but is thinking of moving to weekly because her DH's golf is unpredictable. I always plan a couple of freezer meals so nothing fresh gets wasted if I have to make changes.

I've been busy today and didn't get back for lunch until almost 4 pm. We thought of having something out but not sorry we didn't get around to it.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA1 milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
L- small JP(F), cottage cheese (P), spring onions, tomatoes, cornichons (S)
    D- beef in 'red wine' (P, S), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S + HEA2 cheese)
    Syns - cornflour 1, weekend wine 😋

    Hi everyone,

Congrats to @Jellybaby on the huge loss xx

Good luck to @room512 for your new role tomorrow xx

Not sure where to start with my evening away. Hotel didn’t offer breakfast unless you wanted continental left outside your room for £10/head, so we only paid for the room.

There was no evening buffet just cones of chips, a donut wall and a few wooden boards of pizza being distributed by a single waiter (over 100 people at the venue). Free bar (I was driving) so you can imagine how legless folk were. One of my friends threw up twice all over the hotel threshold 🤮

Group of 8 friends who also went to the evening do went off to find breakfast this morning and didn’t tell us, so we stumbled across them eating whilst we were looking for somewhere to eat. DH made a barbed comment. I feel really snubbed. Even gave some of them a lift last night to avoid cab fares. Feeling very low today.

The happy couple looked gorgeous though, so every cloud!

    Have a good evening all.
