Hope you don’t mind me joining in with this thread. My OH and I have rejoined SW online. Can’t go to a group as he has MH issues. We followed the plan a few years ago and it was working and then lockdown happened and for some reason we went off plan. Anyway, the time has come to do something about our weight hence rejoining.  I have spent the last few days reading the entire thread and have to say you are all very inspiring!

First WI tomorrow. Have been on plan all week but am struggling to fit my syns in as I am too full up. Think I need to adjust my portion sizes.  Also my tummy has rebelled against the healthy eating and I am struggling to go to the toilet which is unheard of as I have IBS (sorry if that is TMI!) Will plod on though as I know the plan works.

I have a question about the frozen yogurt ice cream. Bought an ice cream maker last night. Do I just use ff Greek yogurt and nothing else?

    Food for today -
B - sausage wraps with beans
    L - tbc
D - pizza topped fries with salad..  We discovered that Lidl do some chips that are free in syns.  Have tried the Iceland SW ones previously and we weren’t too impressed but the Lidl ones are lovely .

    HEA- cheese on fries
HEB - 2 alpen light bars

Welcome to the thread @room512.  Well done on rejoining SW.

With the frozen yoghurt it is up to you whether you add some sweetener to it but when I do it I don't bother and just serve with some fruit.  I think @bubbs does the same - you will have seen the pictures of her ice cream nearly every day!  She actually has a very posh ice cream maker rather than a cheapie one like I have where you need to put the bowl in the freezer for 24 hours before making it!

I didn't know Lidl have syn free chips!  I knew Aldi did but I haven't ever managed to get them.  I didn't mind the SW ones from Iceland but DH absolutely hated them!  Could you post a picture of the packet and then I (and anyone else who wants to) can have a look for them.  Many thanks.

Good luck for your WI tomorrow.

Welcome @room512 and good luck for your first WI tomorrow. I too weigh in on a Saturday, at group, but won't be able to stay tomorrow unfortunately.

I've just had my lo SW Greek lamb with orzo plus a pot of M&S mango fingers for lunch. Absolutely stuffed. I'm determined to have at least 1litre of squash this afternoon to help with the blood donation later - I am notoriously slow at donating. They'll be switching the lights off before I've finished lol!

Happy holidays @ruby_eskimo and Mr Ruby xx

Thanks for the advice on the frozen yogurt. We have gone for a cheaper one with a bowl to put in the freezer.

Thanks for the photo @room512 - will look out for those chips after my holiday!  I've only got a cheap ice cream maker too; can't afford an all singing all dancing one!

@Vegastare - wine is only 6 syns if it's a small glass (125 ml) of white or rose.  Red wine is 6.5 syns for a small glass.
