He's applied for halls but you put 4 choices, so no idea which he will be allocated. Think he'll receive an email in the coming days. Most expensive choice was £205 a week! We are an hour by train from Canterbury so away, but not too far. He has a student rail card to get home a bit cheaper as can't take his car as nowhere to park on campus.Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings1

Well done @Vegastare on your 1lb loss!
Agree - £820/month and minimum maintenance grant! We will be supporting both him and DD for the next year so belts being pulled in very tight. He's just gone off for a shift at the golden arches to given himself some funds before he heads off next month!

Many congratulations to your DS @Coxy11. I expect some celebrations are in order. 😊
It's a loss @Vegastare and you know what derailed you a bit but it is (sadly) normal for losses to slow down a bit. don't let it dishearten you. Well done on your pound! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Good to see you again @Abbafan1972. I put on 6.5lbs on my holiday and it's taken me over a month to lose 2.5lbs of that so I know exactly how you feel. Fortunately I was below target before I went to had some leeway. Keep posting. It does help. 😊
Not long until your holiday @ruby_eskimo. Sounds like you may be counting the days.🤣 Where are you going?
I've never really got my head around SP @bubbs. I think you're not supposed to have free food. Logic tells me that it's a low carb form of SW so any reduction in carbs is better than nothing but as you have very few carbs anyway then it's no hardship for you.
It's back to being hot and sunny here today, 26 degrees. I had my weekly walk with friends this morning. I wore leggings for the first time in 2 months and wish I'd stuck to my floaty dresses that I've lived in recently.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, berries (S), banana (F)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese, ham (P), salad bits and pickled cabbage (S)
D- corned beef hash (P,F,S with HEA2 cheese topping), cabbage, cauli, broccoli (S)
Syns- 3? corned beef, 1 horseradish0 -

Are you talking about spaghetti in tomato sauce @bubbs? If so then it's OK to have in small amounts on SP as you have to syn then but it's not actually particular SP friendly, IYKWIM. No idea where she gets the idea they're 62% protein! Far better not to have it. As far as I'm aware spaghetti is carbs and I doubt the tomato sauce is 62% protein! You're right though it's still an on plan meal.1
