Good morning everyone. Looking a bit overcast at the moment but still very warm even after the downpour last night, and wow did it come down! It 3/4 filled one of our water butts which was completely empty.
Good to see you posting @abbafan1972. Good luck for WI tonight. Can understand the frustration with small losses and STSs but as @beanielou says Keep Plodding. You'll get there. Perhaps start posting regularly again with your menu plans and see if we can spot anything which might help - several pairs of fresh eyes! Maybe you could try some SP days in an effort to increase the losses - although can't say it works for me (or @Bubbs!)
Are you maybe eating the same meals over and over again? Perhaps trying some recipes might inspire you and help shift a bit of weight. There are people who say they have better losses if they eat lots of fish, or lots of spicy foods - no idea if it's true but may be worth a try. I suspect it's just mixing things up a bit that does the job.
Today's plan:
B - egg sandwich; melon - HEB; P
L - sweet chilli noodles - P; S; F
D - Fakeaway KFC; chips, beans, corn on the cob - P; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - Skinny Whip 5
Not a lot of Speed today but will also have my usual fruit and yoghurt during the evening (bit like @bubbs with her fruit and ice cream!)
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone,
Feeling shattered this morning after those 2 days in the office. How the heck did I ever do 5??? Anyway, tiredness not helped by another round of painting last night. We are looking to finish this latest stage off tonight, so fingers-crossed for that.
I bought a 'melon free' fruit bowl in M&S at the station on the way into the office yesterday and also a skinny flat white from CNero as they offer loyalty points(!) - the queues for Pr3t are always out the door too! I really needed the caffeine. So total of £6.55 spent before I even got to work. I took in lo chilli with the lo sweet potato wedges plus a hi fi bar for the way home.
Today it's A level results day, so DS2 will be awake shortly to check his results - think they come out at 8.30am. I really have no clue what to expect - he said the exams went okay but you never know...
Annoying about the teeny gain @joedenise but sure you'll have that off plus more next week, particularly if you stick to long drinks when with your friends. Wine is not my friend either!
Good to see you @Abbafan1972 - I too lose very slowly and tend to hit a yoyo point which is very frustrating. Hopefully we can keep you motivated on here.
Food today:
B - poached egg, 1 x wm toast - P, 1/2 HEB
L - JP, baked beans, salad leaves, tomatoes - 1, S
D - sweet chilli chicken thighs, rice, carrots, green beans - 1, S
HEA - milk
1/2 HEB - hi fi bar
Syns - 2 planned
I have no fruit in the house and also need salad leaves, so mealplan very low on S today. I will pop out at lunchtime to buy the bits I need. May send DS2 if he's not moping around!Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0 -
Thank you. I will try and post more regularly with my meals as well. I am in the office today, so won’t have time today, but will let you know how I get on tonight at WI.I didn’t know about the Aldi equivalent Linda Mc sausages, I will look out for them next time I’m in Aldi, are they frozen? . I do find the LMc ones expensive but I did manage to get a box from Farmfoods at the weekend when I was in there. I think they were £1.75, can’t remember to be honest.Speak later - have a good day all. xxStriving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £26,322.670

Morning all. Good luck to your son with his results @Coxy11, hope he gets what he needs for whatever he has planned for the next stage in life.
Thanks for all the good luck messages on Tuesday - presentation...didn't happen because no one turned up 🤣🙄 We got off the ground yesterday though and so far so good. Just another 5 to go over the next week and then it's holiday time 🥳
Breakfast this morning was branflakes after my 5k walk and then lunch is the last of the chicken salads this week. Dinner will be fish pie for me - found a portion in the freezer when I was trying to get some leftover chilli in there, and will cook some green beans and broccoli to go with it.

Good luck to your son @C@Coxy11 on his A level results. Is he going to Uni or looking for work?
Glad the presentation went well @r@ruby_eskimo even if it was later than originally planned! Good luck with the rest of them.
At least once they're out of the way you can enjoy your holiday.

Morning all,
Hope your DS gets everything he wants @Coxy11. Boo to the wee gain @joedenise but you'll get that and more off next week. Just keep thinking of your holiday and the time will fly @ruby_eskimo
I sympathise @Abbafan1972 as I too have small losses, no losses then yo-yo for ages but if I don't keep at it I will gain all I've lost and don't want to go there ever again so just have to 'keep plodding'
On the topic of sausages, I've decided the LM rosemary and red onion are too herby for me and the consistency of the plain ones are too mushy! I'm not a fussy eater honestlyI like the sound of the red pepper and chorizo ones so will try them and look out for the Aldi version.
Bloods getting done at lunchtime and while I'm in the health centre will try and book an appt with a different GP.
Today's plan:
B - sweet omelette, strawberries, banana, f/f Greek yoghurt, 1 tbs Skinny syrup (0.5 syns)
L - tomato and red pepper soup, mango and pineapple
D - chicken wrapped in bacon, new potatoes, cabbage, carrots, sweetcorn
Have a good day all.

Rather than quoting the whole post, copied and pasted just menu plan:
Today's plan:
B - egg sandwich; melon - HEB; P
L - sweet chilli noodles - P; S; F
D - Fakeaway KFC; chips, beans, corn on the cob - P; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - Skinny Whip 5
There are actually a few more syns to add as forgot butter @ 3.5 at breakfast; change of plan for lunch! Stuffed peppers topped with 2nd HEA for mozzarella on top; and 2.5 syns for instant mash powder on the KFC!
Didn't get a lot right first thing did I? So I'll post it again properly now:
B - egg sandwich; melon - HEB; P; 3.5
L - stuffed peppers - HEA2; P; S
D - Fakeaway KFC; chips, beans, corn on the cob - P; F; 2.5
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - mozzarella
HEB - bread
Syns - butter 3.5; instant mash powder 2.5 - so may or may not have the Skinny Whip, will see how I feel later!
