Well done on your loss @TakeItEazy . 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Sorry to hear your week off was such a washout @Jellybaby. Life can be such a bit*ch . Hope this week gets better for you. I'm amazed how much the NHS varies so much across the country.

Half a pound is a tiny gain @ruby_eskimo, nothing to worry about under the circumstances, probably just water.

Still hot and sticky here with no sign of rain.

Odd that you've not had an update about the motor home @joedenise, suggests they haven't made progress.🤔

Snap to our dinner @Coxy11. I prefer cottage cheese with mine though.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast,  HEA milk for drinks,  scrambled eggs (P)
L- cold pork (P),  fried vegetables and beetroot (F,  S)
    D- chilli (P,  S),  rice (F),  cottage cheese (P)
    Syns - 0

    Hi All

I'm still waiting for the rain too.....we had thunder and lightening during the night...expected to see it nice and wet....but no rain to be found.

Can I ask one of my questions....these red onion sausage are they very peppery or herbie....if it is mild I would be ok....I have a weird and wonderful(I joke) illness  burning mouth  and it really gets worse with really spicy stuff.

    B wbix berries yog
L  bean on toast sliceed tom
    D  h m quiche  mixed salad

    HEA Milk and cheese
    HEB  1 bread I wbix
    Syn 2 lf butter spread

Take care and hope you get van back to get it ready for your trip @joedenise

Good news!  The motorhome is back at a cost of nearly £800 for parts and labour!  Suspect the bulk of it was for labour!

The Linda McCartney rosemary and red onion sausages and the Aldi onion and rosemary sausages are both very slightly herby and definitely not peppery or spicy!  I'm sure you'd be fine with them @Vegastare.  I ought to try them out on DD1 as she has the same problem - gets a burnt mouth with black pepper, sweet peppers and curries, chillies etc are completely out!

Great news about the motor home @joedenise. 😁

I agree about the LM sausages @Vegastare. I they taste like a herby stuffing mix and I often use them for that.

I've cleaned the fridge - talk about mouldy!  Don't ever leave a fridge shut without being switched on it's horrible!  The shelves and holders from the door are all in the dishwasher - hopefully that can get them cleaner than I can!

I've left the fridge open so that it can air dry.  Will put all the bits back in tomorrow and get in there with a hoover to pick up as many bits as possible and the wash the floors and clean out the shower room/loo.  Door mat will go in the washing machine along with the door mats from indoors.  Just hope it's not raining tomorrow!

Have you cut back on the amount you are eating @bubbs?  You don't seem to be eating as much as you used to or is it just because it's been hot?

Morning all.  Good to hear you have the motorhome back @joedenise and hope the rest of the week isn't as busy for you @bubbs.  All the talk of cottage cheese @maman has me craving a jacket potato with the stuff on it.  Might have to see if there's room for one on next week's meal plan.

Today is a big day at work as I'm launching the big project I've been working on for the last 18 months - feeling really nervous about it and not at all prepared but we'll just see how it goes.  Had to force some breakfast down because I know I'll feel worse if I don't eat - had some branflakes and milk.  Lunch is a chicken salad I prepped yesterday and dinner tonight is kimchi fried rice with an egg as something quick and easy that I don't have to think about.

Hope everyone has a good day, I'm off to practice my presentation for the millionth time!

Morning all, still very humid here although not sunny.  We didn't get any rain last night even though there was a bit of thunder just after we went to bed but it only lasted a couple of minutes!

Good luck with your presentation today @ruby_eskimo - I'm sure you'll be fine.  You know your subject so just do it.  I used to think presentations were the worst thing in the world but once you get going it's fine and I'm sure it will be the same for you.

Need to go to Mr Ts today as there's a few things I can't get in Lidl and it's in the opposite direction so rarely do both on the same day!  Also need to pop into Iceland as didn't realise we're almost out of corn on the cob (just one left!) and I'm doing KFC later this week although going to have to rearrange the menu plan as can't do chips in the MH!

    Today's plan:

    B - breakfast hash - P; S; F
    L - gammon salad sandwich - HEB; P; S; 1
    D - cottage pie & veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - LTL mayo, grainy mustard

    Have a good day everyone.
