Evening all 👋🏻I gained lb last week 😤 but this week it’s gone and also took a friend 🤗 so loss of 2lb 😱. Probably due to bout of food poisoning 🤮 still suffering with tummy gripes 🥺.
Finally got to speak to Dr (phone call 🙄), got new meds for nerve pain plus HRT patches. I also talked her into prescribing an over the counter hay fever med as I pay monthly for scripts and would be cheaper than buying them 🤗.Got to stagger starting new meds so I can check side effects so just the HRT for now.
My biggest complaint is just being given meds without any physical checks 🤷🏼♀️.Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Yay photos @bubbs! 😁
Well done on your loss @Coxy11. 👏👏👏 I'm amazed at all the DIY you're doing and in this heat. I've had a much quieter day, more like @Mrs_Ryan. I like listening to audio books too.
So sorry to hear your weekend didn't go to plan @Vegastare. Sad about the fish too. ☹️ Tomorrow is a new day.
It went a bit dark and blowy earlier but no rain came. ☹️0 -
Great loss bubbs.

Morning all, definitely much cooler this morning but still forecast to get up to high 20s later so still very warm.
Still not heard anything about the motorhome so DH will ring them later to see when it's likely to be ready as we really want to get it back, clean it properly especially the fridge which I'm sure is going to be mouldy with having been shut and switched off for such a long time - yuk! to that job. Hopefully we can then get away for a couple of days or so, won't be any longer than that as DH has golf matches lined up over the next couple of weeks before we go to France for September!
Need to do a bit of shopping so will get that out of the way this morning and then I'm going to make some Thai curry paste and freeze it just use up the lemon grass and some of the coriander, think I'll end up freezing the rest of the coriander. I've found a recipe for a milder curry paste which uses a red bell pepper and just a couple of chillies! Think that will be spicy enough for me (can always add a bit more chilli when I actually make a curry if it isn't spicy enough!).
Today's plan:
B - Weetabix, milk, fruit - HEB; part HEA; S; F
L - egg salad with FF vinegarette - P; S
D - gammon, fried up potatoes, baked beans (cooked extra potatoes yesterday to do this rather than chips) - P; F
HEA - milk
HEB - Weetabix
Syns - none planned
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all. Well done on the losses @bubbs, @Coxy11 and @TakeItEazy and lovely to see you back @Mrs_Ryan, but agree with bubbs that all your adventures make me feel exhausted. I'm sure you're going to love your holiday (2 weeks today I'll be on a plane 😀)
Had a quiet weekend because it was so hot, but managed to get all the last minute bits I think. Weighed in this morning and it's half a pound on for me but then again it's star week so to be expected really! Been for a walk this morning and followed by blueberries and ff yogurt for breakfast. Lunch is going to be chicken salads this week as I cooked a chicken in the slow cooker yesterday - it was cheaper than buying tins of tuna or another kind of cooked meat. Dinner tonight is a Japanese style veggie curry (carrots, potatoes, aubergine, peppers) which uses up some veg from the fridge but also a packet from the cupboard. Not sure on syns, it's basically just curry powder with some things added in so hopefully not loads!
Hope you all have a good day!

Morning all, sorry still to catch up with everyone but hope you are all well.
It's back to work for me this morning after a rather rubbish week's annual leave being ill! Managed a STS at the weekend which I'm delighted about considering everything I had going on.
Also had my GP appt and will get bloods done but let's just say I'm totally not impressed! Will wait til results come in and see if I can speak to someone else.
Heavy thunder and lightning here last night and the rain is currently battering off the windows! Have had to put the desk lamp on as it's so dark too.
Today's food:
B - 45g bran flakes (HEXB), yoghurt (0.5 syns), strawberries
L - tuna salad, salad cream (1.5 syns)
D - LM red onion sausages, chips and beans
Have a good day all.0
