Funny you say that @maman as I hadn't made before and doubt I'll make again - didn't really like them tbh! I had 4 today (they are stacked in the photo) to use up!!

    Morning,
It's WI today. I'm feeling quite hopeful as I've tried different meals this week and have stuck to plan. Unfortunately I can't stay to group today as we're taking DMum for brunch then off to DS1s to help him with a garden project.
    Will check back later.

Morning all, another glorious day and absolutely nothing planned!

Good luck for WI @Coxy11; sounds like you've had a good week.

The TGTG bag I collected yesterday was pretty good as it was all fruit and veg and absolutely no bread - that's a first!  Got a load of lemons which I'll slice and freeze ready for our G&Ts! a bag of broad beans which we had with dinner last night - didn't eat them all as really not a good veg for me, it's a texture thing! a box of mixed grapes, a melon, some vine tomatoes (had one with breakfast this morning), a bag of mange tout, a couple of courgettes, a bag of potatoes, a pack of coriander (will have some sprinkled on our curry tonight, will freeze the rest), some lemon grass so looks like I'm going to need to make a Thai style curry to use that!  Not a bad haul for £3.09!  The bag was really full and quite heavy so I was glad I'd taken a trolley as I needed to get a couple of bits from my shopping list - could actually only get one thing from it as they hadn't got something else I wanted.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with bacon & sausage - P; S; F; 1
    L - cheese salad sandwich - HEB; HEA2; S; 0.5
    D - chicken curry, rice - P; S; F (used chicken from last week's roast dinner)

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - sausage 1; LTL mayo 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done on your loss @bubbs. Really pleased for you. 👏👏👏

    🤞for you @Coxy11

I suppose your consultant puts it down to SP @bubbs but I think you just don't lose to a weekly pattern. I've just had two really good on plan weeks but lost half one week and two the next. 🤔

Have a great time with your dad. Enjoy yourself and the SW food you're taking but don't be too hard on yourself.

That was an excellent bag of goodies @joedenise. What a change to the have healthy food in it.

It's baking hot here again. Today is both our wedding anniversary (42 years 🥰)  and the first home game of the season. It'll be a bit of a rush to get back from football and out again but we'll manage. Tonight's food will not be SW friendly but back on it tomorrow. 😊

Great loss @bubbs.  Are you continuing with SP for another week?  If you do it will be interesting to see if you get another decent loss.  Enjoy your time with your dad.

Enjoy your meal out @maman.  I'm sure you won't have any more syns than I did yesterday!  I definitely need to rein it in this week to make up for it!

I was really impressed with the bag this time, far better than any of the others we've had.  There's usually loads of bakery products which DH loves - hot cross buns, bagels, huge rolls etc not usually cakes though!

Decided to do a machine load of washing which is out on the line and nearly dry already - doesn't take long in this weather does it.
