Where is Mrs R not seen her for ages 😏
    Here she is 😊
Hello! Thanks for remembering me bubbs.
I know it’s the middle of the night but my body clock works in strange ways- that’s a hangover from my nursing days when I worked odd shifts.
I’ve not long gone back to group- I haven’t been for a while as my friend who I rely on to take me was on hols- then I was on hols- then I had the dreaded Rona lurgy!

I haven’t been for the last two weeks though- as again, friend was looking after her granddaughter, then work kept me away.. but I am going this week!

Shock- horror- I’ve been on plan 😂I haven’t been on plan properly since about March 😂but you know what I’ve not gained anything. I’m about the same weight I was in January. When I went back to group end of July after 3 months off I had actually lost 1/2 a lb!

In that time I’ve eaten all kinds of things. I’ve had a lot of on plan meals but not been on plan 😂I’m off for my very first (can you believe it- I’m nearly 42) foreign beach holiday in 3 weeks time- 2 weeks all inclusive to Gran Canaria!

And I’m off to Manchester and Liverpool this weekend (I’m going to a Steps signing on Friday evening and in the afternoon I’ve applied for tickets to the recording of a Question of Sport. Saturday night I’m off to Peter Kay’s dance for life at Liverpool) and then the following weekend I’m off home to go to a Back to the 80’s night with my best mate and I’m heading up to Scotland to meet an old friend I haven’t seen in over 10 years. So the likelihood of me being 100% on plan in the imminent future is low 😂

I bought a lovely dress in the RI sale though to wear when I go to Scotland- and it’s a 16 which I’m pleased with. My holiday clothes are a bit of a mixed bag- I’ve had to resort to 20’s and even 22-24’s in some things (I’m not bothered though- its Primark 😂it’s one t-shirt that I intend to use as a beach cover up and some undies which I’m sure I will be grateful for after two weeks of yummy grub 😂) I have bought myself two lovely bikinis which actually fit properly. They’re the 50’s type- high waisted and longline tops. One even has little cap sleeves. The swimwear I initially put aside to pack were two size 24 swimsuits and a size 24 bikini. After trying them on I realised I needed new swimwear 😂I bought a bra sized bikini from Bravissimo and the cost was eye watering but I love it and it’s so flattering. I wouldn’t have dared wear it when I was a 24. Needless to say it’s gone in my hand luggage 😂

    This was Saturday’s menu.
B: HEXB Warburtons wholemeal Danish, 1 level tbsp (yes I measured it exactly!) of Aldi spread (3.5) 40g of cheese (HEXA1- it’s the reduced fat grated stuff from Asda) tomatoes, gherkins. HiFi bar (3) Decaf coffee with 150ml Alpro no sugars oat milk (1/2 HEXA2)
    L: Co-op prawn layered salad (4.5) couscous (1/2) water
T: Chicken breast fillets with four level tbsps of Nando’s sauce (2) Uncle Ben’s rice (3) salad. Berries and FF natural Greek yoghurt, 2 x tbsps Skinny Food Co custard sauce. (1) Cup of Decaf coffee with 75ml Alpro no sugars oat milk (rest of HEXA) and 2 x pints of water with slices of fresh lemon
S: Scrambled eggs with Heinz reduced sugar and salt beans. 2 x pints of water with slices of fresh lemon
    Syns: 17.5

Lots of love ❤️I promise I will post at a more sensible time tomorrow 😂

Morning all, it's gonna be another hot one today!

Good to see you posting again @Mrs_Ryan and well done on keeping up the good eating and the lost weight off without going to group.  You've definitely had the necessary mindset change.  Enjoy all the things you have planned over the next few weeks.

Will be washing the bedding today I think as there's a possibility of rain from tonight, although for my area it's only showing as about 50% chance and we don't usually get any until we're up to at least 80% so looks as though we won't get any until Wednesday.  Decided to do the washing today rather than hoping for the best over the next couple of days!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausage and bacon - P; S; F; 1
    L - burger, onions, salad in soft pitta - HEB; S; 0.5
D - gammon, potatoes, veg, rosemary and onion sausage meat balls - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - soft pitta
Syns - LF sausage 1; LF burger 0.5; may have an Alpen Light or similar

    Have a good day everyone.

Just hung second load out, first load is dry but I'll leave it out until the 2nd load is dry as well.  Might as well get it all in in one go!

Good to hear from you @Mrs_Ryan.  You've obviously got a default to healthy eating that you come back to when you have a choice. I've not done All Inclusive myself but people tell me that there are often lots of buffets so you can choose what you eat.

We had a good time yesterday evening. I stuck to 2 courses but DH managed a pudding. Very synful but moving on today. I'm feeling very tired. Not sure how much is energy sapping heat or feeling out of the sorts after rich food. I'll do the roast but may have even more LOs than usual. 🤣

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast,  HEA milk for drinks. baked beans (F),  fried egg (P)
    L- LO casserole and veg (P. F,  S),  beetroot (S)
D- Jo roast pork (P),  SW roast potatoes,  parsnips (F),  many vegetables (S)
Syns -  HM gravy 4, weekend wine 😊

    Afternoon everyone
Thanks for the warm welcome back.
Bring on the rain and thunderstorms! I’m sick of this now. I should be fine when we go abroad though- air con 😂
Spent the day camped out in front of the fan listening to Paddy McGuinness’ book on Audible 😂
    Today’s menu:
B: Berries, FF natural Greek yoghurt, HEXB Lizi’s No Sugar granola. Decaf coffee with HEXA Alpro oat milk
L: SW meal pot, mixed veg. HiFi bar (3) Water with fresh lemon
D- Chicken salad with couscous and mayo (6.5- I need loads of mayo on chicken and I’ve only got the light not the extra light) Ice lolly (1.5) Water with fresh lemon
    S: Skinny bar (3) Crisps (3.5)
    Syns: 17.5

    Lots of love ❤️

    Hi all,

    Sorry for radio silence.

@Vegastare we should swop MIL coping notes  :# Sorry about the fish  :'(
Hope you had a fab anniversary @maman
Good to see you @MrsRyan - you're a busy bee as ever!

Well done on your loss @bubbs and glad DDad had a good day but OMG to 5 changes of bag...!

I lost 2lb this week - as the weigh lady said - "that's the 1lb you put on last week, plus one more" - yes thanks for reminding me about my gain lol!

Went for brunch with DMum and Dsis yesterday and had smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast. Worked in DS1s garden all afternoon, painting his garden room in the heat...! Then to friends for a bbq. I was driving and only had a small plate plus some strawberries.

More painting today - we undercoated and primed all downstairs doors which took 3 hours. I also did some tidying up in the garden, went to Aldi and we cleaned the bathrooms. We had carbonara for dinner - nice and quick and very tasty.

I'm going to use the slow cooker tomorrow to make a chilli con carne. DH in Birmingham so will be home late, so I'll cook some rice once I've painted at least two doors with first coat of satinwood. Will hopefully finish all wood painting this week. We've ordered wallpaper for lounge and hallway so now wanting to get it all finished and have the new floors fitted. New sofas coming on 9 September but we may have to put them back.

    Have a good evening all,
    Coxy
