So my maws ECG was clear even although her GP picked up an irregular heartbeat which is apparantly a stroke risk.
    Not sure what is next!

Great loss @Vegastare👏👏👏.  No need to syn the parmasan as you can have 30g as your 2nd HEB so a sprinkle is nowhere near that - in fact I think you'd struggle to grate 30g of it!

At least you got a call from the GP surgery, even if it was a student; the info on HRT could be very useful.  Have to say my symptoms vastly improved once I started taking HRT; really glad I decided to go for it.  I was a completely different person once I started the tablets.

Decided to have my salad in a soft pitta rather than in a sandwich and very nice it was too.  I've made the batter mix for tonight's toad in the hole - think it's always better once it's been rested.

Really pleased for you @Vegastare. What an excellent start! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

It has to be good news about your mum @beanielou. I wonder whether the GP will follow it up any further. 🤔

Not sure what to think about your experience @Coxy11. It's progress of a sort I suppose but seems a very DIY approach when you want some support. Maybe when you get to speak to the nurse face to face about your cholesterol they can offer some advice. I know DH got more practical advice and reassurance about dealing with a flare up with his eczema from the nurses that did his blood test than the GP.

I looked up the Gregg's bhaji and it was 4 syns. Not bad at all, especially if you need something on the go. Do they sell them warm in the shops? 🤔 It's hard to tell how many syns in a restaurant curry @Jellybaby but you were restrained so 🤞🏼. Unless you have really masses of milk then your Parmesan will be a HEA @Vegastare. You can have 250mls of semi skimmed for a  one HEA and 30g of Parmesan for the other, or split them.

Delighted that you have some good news at last @TakeItEazy. Lovely to meet up with your cousin and some extra finances. Result! 😊

I went to WI and lost half a pound. A teeny step in the right direction. 😊 I'm out on Saturday so will have to be careful this coming week but just plodding on.

    Today's EE plan-
    B- HEB Weetabix, HEA milk
    L- veggie omelette (P,S), ham (P), beetroot (S), strawberries (S), yogurt (P?)
D- liver (P), mash, LO gravy (F), many vegetables (S)
    Syns- 0

Well done on your loss @maman! I wanted that Gregg$ meal cold but guess they could warm it up in MW? For 4 syns it was really tasty and filling.

Good news on your DMum's clear ECG @beanielou - keep us posted.

Nurse appointment is a phone call @maman! They don't see patients F2F atm?!

@Bubbs - Oops!  Of course I meant 2nd HEA for the parmasan!  Sorry if I mislead you @Vegastare.

Great that they could do your car this morning @bubbs.  Bet my motorhome will be more than that with all the bits that need doing, plus service and MOT; think we'll be lucky to get away with £500 but suspect it will be more.

    Morning!

Another bright day here. I have a washload on - our DIY clothes - so they will be nice and fresh for (yes you've guessed it) more painting at the weekend. I am going to London today to meet a contact of my boss who is looking for a PA and doesn't know where to start. Boss has suggested I'm loaned to her one day a week for 3 months to aid the process. I'm meeting my niece afterwards for lunch at Stratford Westfield. I've not been before so need to look at what eating places there are. Dinner is just me as DH is out with friends and DS2 is going to Birmingham with GF and family for the athletics.

I've weighed myself this morning and looks like a 1.5lb gain - cannot think why that is, so it's not looking good for tomorrow's WI.

Will have a good breakfast of cherries, poached egg, mushrooms and bacon before I go out and will take a hi fi bar with me in case I need a snack later.

Glad the car was fixed and the cost was what you were expecting @bubbs - that almost never happens!

    Have a good day all,
    Coxy
