Morning all, feels like it's going to be another warm one!  Machine load of washing in and will be hung out on the line shortly.

Great loss @annabanana82 and although you had the 10 syn rice box it's still within syns and you still got a 3lb loss, well done.

Going to my friend's again today; DH is going to put up some curtain poles for her.  He couldn't do them when we were last there as she'd only been able to buy one and had to order the rest!  Not sure what I'm going to be doing but no doubt there is more sorting out to do!

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - P; S; F; 2
    L - Welsh rarebit - HEA2; HEB; F
    D - roast chicken dinner with roasted veg, green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - LF sausages 2

    Have a good day everyone.

Snap to chicken dinner today @joedenise. 😁 Beautiful day here too.

I'm going to do a batch of Delia's braised red cabbage today as I've used the last from the freezer.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, fried egg and bacon (P), tomatoes (S)
    L- ham(P), bubble and squeak (F, S), beetroot (S)
D- roast chicken (P), SW roast potatoes, LM stuffing balls (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns - HM gravy 4, weekend wine 😊

DH has decided he's going to BBQ the chicken so I'll just prep the potatoes and veg and they can be BBQ'd as well.  All I'll need to do is the veg and gravy (for DH).

My ongoing saga continues....DH called into MIL today and she sent him homes with scones....I was not well pleased, she will have to be told...gently of course.  He has been told to either eat them in the car or keep them in his car to take to work....no place in house for them!!!

B Weetbix 1 and mixed berries FF Greek Yog
Double poached egg 1 toast handful raspberries
Dinner pork loin chop(no fat) salad new pots and 1 LF sausage (DH B&Q tonight)

    HEA Milk
    HEB Br and wbix
Syns LF saus 2  low fat butter 1.5 possible glass red wine so 6 -7 syns I think?

@Vegastare - 125ml glass of red is 6.5 syns; 175 ml is 9.5 and 250ml is 12.5ml!  The syn values were increased a couple of years ago!  Used to be 5 syns for a small glass so quite a big increase.

It is hard if there are goodies in the house that you really like @Vegastare. I can have any amount of biscuits and cakes for DH and they don't bother me at all. But crisps and cheese are a different story. They call me. ☹️

The syn values of wine are confusing @joedenise. I think it depends on the alcohol content. 13.5 % or lower aren't as bad but you have to like them. 😁

It's all changed now @maman!  There isn't any distinction between the different alcohol levels now!  It is just red, white of rose wine and all the syn values the same - it just depends on how much.

Even alcohol free wines are 1.5; 2 and 3 syns respectively for the small, medium and large glasses!

I've pretty much given up on wine and now drinking spirits or even the alcohol free gins from time to time (certainly saves on syns - can have a double for 0.5 syns!).

That's strange @joedenise because if you look up specific, branded wines like Sainsburys or Campo Viejo or Freixenet {sp? 🤔) Prosecco then you get different values than typing in just red or white wine.

I like my wine, although I happily drank G&T for 3 weeks in Turkey but most Turkish wines are nothing special and expensive because Erdoğan keeps upping the tax.

Very strange!  I've never bothered trying to type in specific red wines except McGuiggan (sp) and that isn't recognised!

Have to admit when I go to hotels I tend to drink spirits but when we're in France I tend to drink some spirits but mainly wine because there are so many good ones.  We're probably going to Belgium and Germany in September this year rather than France.  In Belgium it'll definitely be spirits because DH will be sampling the beers!  In Germany it will be a combination of white wine and spirits depending on where we are and some German whites can be too sweet!
