Right I'm a bit more awake now having had my cup of tea so I'll type my normal post!
It's a bit miserable this morning but still very warm. It's forecast to get to mid 20s today but not looking very hopeful at the moment! If it brightens up I'll probably do a machine load of washing but won't bother if it doesn't.
Today's plan:
B - breakfast hash topped with eggs - P; S; F
L - gammon salad sandwich - HEB; P; S; F; 0.5
D - toad in the hole, potatoes, green veg - S; F; 6.5
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - LTL mayo 0.5; sausages 2; flour 4.5
Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone,
Lovely and sunny here today and still warm. Headache this morning so have taken some pain relief. Have filled in another on line GP enquiry this morning to ask about my symptoms. All well and good sorting my cholesterol but what about the other stuff.
Great haul at CS @bubbs and your dinner looked lovely. I fancy prawns now but oh no cholesterol! Maybe I should eat all the naughty stuff before nursie tells me off on Monday.... Hope the MH isn't too expensive to get it through the MOT @joedenise
We saw the Elvis film last night - can highly recommend it if you haven't seen yet. Couple next to me were having a 3 course meal - loaded tortillas, popcorn, drinks!
Food today:
B - cherries, strawberries, puffed fruit wheats, mullerlight yog - S, HEB, 0.5
L - still to be christened - not sure what I fancy yet.
D - kedgeree - P
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar 3 plus 0.5 - 3.5
Have a good day everyone,
Coxy

Sun has come out here now so machine load of washing on. Should finish soon and I'll get it on the line before popping to the pharmacy to take in a prescription. They probably won't have it but friend can pick it up this afternoon when she walks her dogs so all good.
Off to do my exercises before I forget as didn't get round to doing them yesterday. The shoulder is coming along well and I can actually get my arm behind my back a reasonable amount now. Can do my bra up at the back if I pull it down a bit with my left hand so definite progress to where it was a month ago - couldn't even do it that amount. Have another appointment tomorrow afternoon. See if she gives me any more exercises to do! She gave me 2 extra ones last time so now have 6 different exercises to do every day. Hope she does't give me any extras as I'll probably lose track of what I need to be doing!

That's a great loss @Vegastare well done! Still trying to catch up with everyone! I've drawn up a list of questions for appt next week as brain fog is one of my major symptoms! @Coxy11
Yesterday's food didn't quite go as well as I planned. Macaroni cheese with salad at lunch time! I never eat this, not because of carbs or fat, I just don't like cheese or this combination that much! No idea what happened there. I had chicken tikka with boiled rice when we were out with family for dinner. A teenie weenie piece of nan bread and a spoonful of sauce. I ate my salad then pinched DS's too
Today's food is up in the air as a couple of trades people coming to do some jobs in the kitchen so don't want to start cooking or faffing around in case they are both here at the same time or the water or gas has to go off for a bit. Must admit still feel stuffed from last night.
Hope everyone is well0 -
Afternoon all
Had a lovely day yesterday as met my cousin for the first time! She lives in America and is over visiting her parents (last time she was here was 30 yrs ago). Bit of a back story, she didn’t meet her dad (my uncle) until she was 18 so we didn’t know about her! Uncle was a lorry driver so probably more out there 😂. Anyway lots of happy tears were shed.
Then this morning thought I’d check my bank as dreamt I had a notification of a payment, well fook me PIP had made a payment 😱!! No notification to hubby just a nice bit of dosh in the bank 🥳🥳. That’s taken a bit of pressure off 🤗
Been winding hubby up saying I can get another tattoo now 😂 bet you can imagine his reply 😈.
Had a haircut yesterday too, been scalped 🥴Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Well a medical student rang me. Discussed symptoms again and I asked what my hormone levels were. Slightly raised apparently but nothing glaringly obvious. She then spoke to GP and called back.I have been signposted to Headspace app and a self guided therapy website. I need to have another blood test in 4-6 weeks. They also sent through some info on HRT. Will look at this later as have a couple of meetings now.Had this for lunch. 4 syns and very tasty:Good news about the PIP TIE xCross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0
