Thanks for the update @bubbs. On the positive side, the GP sounds very thorough and your mum is going to get some attention to her own health. A big shock that it's more than her knee though. I suppose it's trial and error getting the right dosage for your dad but it's a move in the right direction. 🤗

Shame about the chips @joedenise. Since you said about chips crisping up I've been checking and my best ones are when I can have the oven at 200+ but that's not practical when I've got fish or something else that needs a lower temperature. 🤔

Sorry @bubbs only just seen your post.  Must have posted while I was typing mine earlier.  Sorry to hear about your mum, not surprised she wants next week over.  As @maman said the GP sounds very thorough.

Hope your mum is OK @beanielou, it's good that she is having the investigations so at least the doctors will know for certain what is wrong.  Once they know what's what they can at least start treatment.

@beanielou - have a look online at the SW recipes.  There's loads of baked risotto recipes and loads of baked pasta ideas.

    What about vegetable jambalaya?  Curries?

I just put rice recipes in the search box and more than a dozen came up!

Typed in pasta recipes and there's absolutely loads!

I'm sure you can find loads of ideas!
