Afternoon all 👋🏻WI with guess what? Yeah ANOTHER sts 😤 I know it’s better than a gain but oh it pi33es me off 🤬
I have also been on the merry go round that is getting an appointment with a Dr!! Have a 2 hour window to fill in an online form, my fatigue makes me miss it 🥴. When I finally filled it in I got a phone appointment with the physio! NOT what I need 😤 I have all the tools to do my own physio but it’s pain management I need for my back 😤. Then that appointment was cancelled through illness 🙄. Still waiting on conclusion of face to face appointment re menopause symptoms plus other issues ! Not much of happiness in our lives at the moment what with our health issues and finances 🥺
Finally got UC but peanuts 🫤 & just had another call re PIP SO 🤞🏻 For that .
Other than that 🫣
Hope you’re all doing ok?Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

What a PITA @TakeItEazy! It's ridiculous the way the GP surgeries are acting. It was bad enough before Covid but it's even worse now. 🤞re the PIP.
As you say STS is better than a gain. With what you have going on I think you're doing well with getting STS.
@bubbs - hadn't realised you had had the other syns - but I wouldn't worry about 2.5 syns over! You rarely even have 10 a day so still way under for the week.
I've been over syns nearly every day since WI so I really need to rein it back in from until until Wednesday morning!
Been over to Morries for the TGTG. bag but not as good as usual. There was a box of very ripe nectarines (BB date 26 July!), bag of satsumas, pack of WM pittas, pack of 3 peppers (one already manky!), loaf of granary bread, pack of bagels, bag of radishes (which I've given to my friend as we don't eat them), 2 packs of cookies. So not very much of any use to me but it will all get used and I don't need to change my menu plan to use it up.

TIE i feel your painleast you are not gaining x
My mum rang and said she needed face to face last Thursday she got 2 appointments consecutive for Tues, one for her and one for dad yet when i needed to speak to one last week with my bites "oh there is no doctor here this time of day"!! that was just after 4.30 🙄
I got bitten again last night 😪 but so far so good, it hurts and itches but nothing else.
Denise you should know i always have my ice cream 😂 although don't always have merigune

You've been busy again @bubbs. Lots of goodies for the coming week. 👍
Sorry to hear life is tough for you @TakeItEazy. I agree with the others though. You've done brilliantly to STS what with the school residentials and all the stresses. Keep plodding. 🤗
Access to the NHS seems such a lottery at the moment. Our GP's surgery is good and relatively easy to get to see a doctor but the hospitals are a different story with cancelled appointments. I'm assuming it might be Covid absence but it might just be prioritising as 🤞 DH and I don't have any serious problems.1 -
All our old GP left or retired early - so 3 relatively new ones....my recent chest infection was dealt with by asthma nurse ( I have asthma and used to see her back in the day) when I was still struggling I asked for another phone appt with her - only to get the lady GP phone - who was really lovely with me and twice insisted if it had not improved with the next round of meds I had to phone her and she would see me in surgery. You could have knocked me over with a feather....it's been like Fort Knox in there.
Been out a lovely walk and had tea outside....was going to b q but was quicker to just cook in and carry out.
Bubbs must make some Scotch eggs - not done them for ages....do you coat with potato powder (not keen on cousous myself)1 -
Denise i do always have choc sot 1 syn's worth but not meringue
but i had that first THEN 2 kits kats 🤣
Vegastare i did today mixed with paprika for a bit of flavour, i have never eaten couscous as couscous 😂 only on scotch eggsSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
We are back from BIL’s bbq. I had a pork sausage, a piece of chicken, a couple bits of steak, half a JP with cheese and spring onions, salad and Cous Cous. Also had a small piece of cake - was an almond type sponge with blackberries. Yes a fair few syns but stayed away from the halloumi and donuts!
Managed to see the England match - very sore throat now.Sorry about the STS TIE but agree that you’re doing so well given everything else that’s going on. Morning all. Good to hear your dad is behaving himself a little more @bubbs and fingers crossed everything goes ok at the GP for them both on Tuesday.
Agree with everyone else @TakeItEazy, be kind to yourself with all the stress that you've been under the last few months.
Had a busy weekend - went to a friend's for a BBQ on Saturday and made the most of all the salad and then DH took me out for lunch yesterday to a pub we always drive past and say we should try one day. The portions were huge but so yummy - we both had roast beef and it came with unlimited yorkshire puddings 😲 DH was very happy with that! After all of that I was very surprised to see a 1.5lb loss on the scales this morning (well it was 1.8, but rounding down). So close to the next stone bracket now so might be seeing that next week 🤞 Only 4 weeks till the holiday so just carrying on with the walks, the odd workout and drinking all the water and we'll see what happens!
Breakfast today was ff yogurt with blueberries, lunch is a tuna and cheese salad and dinner is a chicken stir fry with noodles, nice and simple and quick today!
