Glad to see you have an appetite today @bubbs. 😊

Hope all goes well on the shopping trip tomorrow. You'll have a better idea of how things stand seeing them in person. Perhaps your mum is getting closer to accepting help. 🤔

Oops sorry yes F is of course Free food!

Shame about the STS @maman but at least not a gain. I’m not a huge fan of tinned fish tbh but have it as I know it’s good for me 👍🏻 Odd that the chilli mackerel is so high in syns?

How awful Bubbs. Glad your parents got home in time! Hope DMum gets on okay at the GP.

    Morning all,

Looks like a lovely day in store here so will get some washing done and line dried. Hope your parents had a better night @bubbs

I had some white wine last night whilst watching the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. All within syns.

I've just checked my freezer inventory and see I got a M's TGTG bag a month or so ago and froze the egg mayo sandwich filler. I will defrost over the weekend and see if it's edible. It's 16 syns for the pot/1 syn per tbsp, so won't have it in a sandwich but maybe a few tbsp with salad or on a JP if it tastes okay. DS2 is back from camp today so he will help me out I'm sure.

    Food today:
    B - FF vanilla yog, pineapple, blueberries, strawberries - 2, some S
L - LO spag bol, salad leaves - Free
D - Chilli con carne, rice - Free (will use homegrown chillis)
    HEA - milk
    HEA - mini babybel
    HEB - hi fi
    Syns - 2 plus a rum n pepsi max so 5 total

    Have a good day all
    Coxy

Morning all, agree it's looking like a good day to get some washing done!  Have got the bedding in the machine at the moment and that will be going out on the line once it's done.

As you can imagine my menu plan has gone completely out of the window this week so today will be using up some sausages which were supposed to be for dinner last night!

So today's plan is looking like this:

    B - overnight oats - HEB; S; F
    L - LF sausages, egg, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes - P; S; 2
D - Spanish rice (to use up the rest of the chorizo & cooked chicken from the other day!) - P; S; F; 2

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - sausages 2; chorizo 2

    Have a good day everyone.

Lunch was different to the plan. The LO spag bol turned out to be pulled pork - very tasty. I will make the chilli later with quorn mince so quorn con carne. Will DH and DS2 notice? They are not keen on quorn but I'm hoping to disguise it. This is in a bid to not go to Ts for beef mince and end up buying other things!

I do a veggie chilli @Coxy11 and, because we're not vegetarian, I use beef stock for flavour and I don't think my DH even notices there's no meat. 🤣

Unless you've had absolutely loads of milk @Vegastare, then your Parmesan can be your second HEA so no need to syn it. 👍 How great that your DH brought you SW friendly treats. 😁

Hope the shopping trip went well @bubbs

I've done my meal plan and a massive shop as fridge and veg baskets were virtually empty.

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB porridge, HEA milk, berries (S), banana (F)
    L- ham salad (P, S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips, peas (F), tomatoes, mushrooms, green stuff (S)
Syns - LTL mayo 1, weekend wine 😊

@Vegastare - which LF yoghurt did you have as that will need to be synned.  It is only natural fat free which is Free.  It will probably only be half or 1 syn probably unless you had loads!

    Evening all

Maman i missed your STS, better than a gain!

Mum was a bit upset this morning as she said another awful nights sleep , i asked Dad why he wasn't sleeping as he has 2 tablets, he said don't know, i said are you worried/scared? No, i said well you need to tell the doctor the the the truth when you go Tues.

I said what's this being nasty to mum? She said he was really awful yesterday afternoon :( he raised his voice, which he NEVER does and said i wasn't, so i said so you are saying Mum is lying? Him , No 🙄

I said to him, we know you are ill, we know it was a shock, it was a shock to us to and we don't want you ill, the problem is we don't do ill so it is some getting used to, but you must remember for Mum to look after you she needs to be well, so she must go and see about her knee.

I know , i know he says. Suppose i will have to go Marlow house (day centre) i asked him if he was scared/worried because he won't know anyone and he didn't really answer, i said you will soon make friends and it will do you both good to have time apart.
Suppose so was the answer 😂

After we had been shopping the post had been and Mum said this must have been because i rang up, it was from the surgery about Carers , she said have a look, so i seized the moment and filled it in and said it just needs signing 😂 she is taking it when they go to the surgery Tues.

Then Dad said about going away and started crying :( i asked him why he was crying (although he stopped as soon as he started ) i said you CAN go away it's just the amount of things you will have to take, he does miss his holidays they always had 2/3 a year abroad.

    See what the weekend brings.
