Morning all,
Well done on the STS @joedeniseand glad you got your prescription sorted @ruby_eskimo
Hope your parents had a better night @bubbs x
@Vegastare I use Ts Neville wholemeal bread. It's 2 slices for a HEB. Great that you are back on plan so quickly.
Hope you enjoyed yourself at your friends house @beanielou
Is the mackerel in mustard sauce free @maman? I had the A!di one in tomato sauce yesterday (64p). Thanks for baked bean tip! I usually buy A!di Coral!e ones but left them off the list as we have them so infrequently. I just really fancied beans on toast on Tuesday mmmmmm
Blood test for me this afternoon. Food will be:
B - FF vanilla yog, blueberries, strawberries, Fruit Wheats - 2, S, HEB
L - Cheese omelette, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles - HEA, P, S
D - Turkey Saltimbocca, green beans, carrots - 1, S
HEA - milk
Syns - hi fi bar 3 plus 3, so 6 total
Have a good day all

Morning all, did your mum call MacMillan @bubbs? for for support. I do hope she did. She can't go on like that as she'll end up making herself ill and be of no use to your dad at all.
Not doing much today other than popping down to my friend's house again to help with more sorting out! The downstairs is looking so much better without all the boxes everywhere. Shame the same can't be said of the upstairs! Will have to pop to the farm shop as well to pick up some more eggs as using the last for breakfast this morning.
Today's plan:
B - smoked haddock, scrambled eggs and tomatoes, toast - HEB; P; S
L - LO curries, rice - P; S; F
D - sausages, mash, veg - S; F; 2
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Hi All
Thanks for the tips on bread...will try the Neville if my Tesco has it, otherwise it will have to be detour to Aldi (few miles).
Will get the lighter than light mayo next time.
Bubbs as for MacMillan you need to contact the local MacMillan nurse, she has the area knowledge of Marie Curie and Hospice.
I worked for a health charity (not Mac) and had contact at local level hence me knowing. Do hope you can sort something for your Mum for support.
I too get beans from Aldi for me - Him will only have Heinz I find the sauce strong.
Another daft question - what do you mean P,S. or P.S.F is it free foods syns protein
On to plan
Break mushrooms grilled tom and half tin baked beans, rasb/blue plain yog
Lunch left over quiche and salad toms and beetroot(vacum pack type) bread
Din Sea bass grilled(no skin ick) new pots and mushy peas and broccoli
HEA Milk
HEB bread x 1
syn maybe HI fi 3

@Vegastare Neville's is good value too at c.40p/loaf? Funny but I can't stand Heinz beans - just used to the cheaper variety now I expect! P is protein, F is Fibre, S is speed. I use them to make sure I'm getting my quota - meant to be 1/3 speed at every meal but I don't always achieve that.
My omelette for lunch was cheese and chopped up mini sweet peppers. I find I can eat them fine when cooked but they don't suit me raw. Really enjoyed my lunch and also had 4 homegrown cherry plum tomatoes which were so sweet.

@Coxy11 and @Vegastare - the F is actually Free food - ie things like rice, pasta, fruit and veg which isn't Speed like potatoes, cherries, pineapple etc.
Change of plan as I was still down my friend's at lunchtime so ended up with more bread but at least it is Hovis small wholemeal! So ended up with a ham, tomato & cucumber sandwich so 9.5 syns! Still at least it was within syns. Shame about the biscuits later though!
Definitely over on syns today but not enough to worry about, will just reign it back in later.

Yes, The Princes mackerel in mustard sauce is free @Coxy11. I particularly like that flavour and the sauce is generous and means there's no need for mayo with a salad. Most of the Princes ones are low syn but beware of the chilli flavour. not because it's hot but because it has 7 syns! 🤣
I don't have Speed for every meal, especially breakfast but I do make up for it in the rest of the day. My dinner and often my lunch can be 50% Speed.
Hopefully shifting boxes and walking back and forth to your friend's new home will add to the Body Magic @joedenise. I've been for a brisk, hour long walk today and next week I'm back to dance classes.
I went to WI this morning and STS. A bit disappointed that I didn't get even a teeny loss but I'll just plod on and hope for the best. I've got a fairly clear week coming up so maybe I'll be lucky next Thursday.🤔
I've scratched a meal together tonight to use up stuff from the fridge. I was planning lasagne earlier this week but now I'm doing it for Saturday lunch with DD2, I've moved things forward and ended up a meal short on this week's plan. I defrosted some pork and beef mince and I've made burgers for tonight and some meatballs that I'll cook and freeze to have with pasta next week.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB Weetabix, HEA milk, strawberries (after WI)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese, ham (P), salad (S)
D- burger (P), SW chips (F), asparagus, mushrooms, fried onions, salad (S)
Syns- LTL mayo 10 -
@maman - Unfortunately I didn't walk to and from my friends so no body magic there but definitely some with the shifting furniture and boxes! Took the car as we both needed to go to the farm shop which definitely isn't in walking distance!
Shame about the STS but at least it wasn't a gain. I'm sure it'll come off next week for you especially as you have a clear week coming up.

Evening all
Thanks everyone, no she didn't have a better night and Dad has been like a cat on hot bricks all day, can't sit still then fell in the garden. He says he is not hurt but was rubbing his shoulder 😏 but mum said think he jolted it as put his hand out to stop him.
Mum has an appointment face to face with the doctor Tuesday, Dad says suppose that's to talk about me , Mum said no my appointment is for me about my knee and how low i feel, yours is after mine and about you!
She did go to the charity shop yesterday but sod's law the bus didn't turn up, but there was another 3 waiting and she said well i am going to order a taxi, if we share it will be £2.50 each, so tat's what they did, but she said even if they didn't share she was having one.
Dad then caught the bus to meet her out and they was going for lunch, but then he said i didn't bring my bag (stoma equipment) and think my bag is fillingso she said well we will have to go home then, so got a taxi and she said the mess when she got home 😫 same as last Weds, clothes in the bin, Dad in the shower, then it started again can't stop it when it starts but luckily he was in the shower.
I am taking them shopping tomorrow so will see what's whatSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
