Thank goodness it's cooler @bubbs with you doing all that cleaning. It's no wonder your home is so hot with those huge windows. I'm sure it will look fantastic when it's all done.😊

☹️  to the gain. Better luck next week. And it will be 8 days so 🤞. I know you'll keep plodding and eating well. 😊

Morning all, a beautiful day again.  We finally had some rain yesterday so didn't need to water the garden for the first time in weeks!

@bubbs - there really doesn't seem to be any rhyme nor reason for another gain.  Are you still making sure you're having enough syns?  That is the one thing that used to cause me to put on unexpectedly so now I make sure I have some every day and try to aim for at around 10.  Good luck for this week and hopefully the extra day before next WI might help!

No plans for doing anything today other than cooking and eating!  So today's food:

    B - breakfast hash topped with eggs - P; S; F
    L - burger & onions in a WM roll - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - keema curry, rice

    HEA - milk
    HEB - wholemeal roll
Syns - burger 0.5; probably have a couple of rum & ginger beer 5; maybe a pink n white 2.5

    Have a good day everyone.

I know I've said it before @bubbs but the presentation of your food is excellent, worthy of a magazine. You should send the photos to SW, they're amazing. 😁
Thanks, we eat with our eyes
If only I ate with my eyes, wouldn’t be needing SW 😂😂

    Afternoon all 👋🏻
WI with another STS (4 in a row). Flip knows how, staff had a bake off so plenty of cake had to be tried 🤪. Also thank you buffet from governors which would have been rude not to eat 😵‍💫.
I have chocolate coming out me ears from children 🫣
Anyway that’s it for 6 weeks, so now to knuckle down and rethink my life! Hopefully get rid of some timber before September 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Relax and enjoy your break @TakeItEazy. You deserve it! 😊

STS is fine but do try to  get on plan ASAP as otherwise the bake off and buffet might catch up with you. 🤔

It's a lovely day here, far more like the summer days we're used to. I washed all the loose covers from the sitting room sofas so need to iron them. ☹ Hope all is going well with your new furnishings @bubbs.

Do you make your breakfast hash from scratch @joedenise or do you use LO veg? 🤔 I know what you mean about having some syns but I'd find it hard. I really don't enjoy just limiting myself to a glass of wine. I'd rather have several in one evening and go without on another. Hopefully it'll keep working for me. 🤞🏼

    Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), baked beans (F)
    L- chicken salad (P,S), new potatoes (F)
    D- chicken jambalaya (P,F,S)
Syns- LTL mayo 1, weekend wine😁

It was a wee half pound off for me this morning. Consultant wanted to get into why I’m not losing more each week but I’d rather be consistent than the yo-yoing that’s been my life for a while now.

I agree with Denise @bubbs there’s no explanation for the gain. You are the perfect SW member, always on plan, always within syns and food always looks amazing.

    Today’s food:
B - banana and coffee at group
L - ham salad roll HEXB, fresh pineapple chunks at mum’s after shopping
D - chicken curry with rice

Syns - 0 so far and no alcohol tonight just for a change 🤣🤣

Well done on your loss @Jellybaby. 👏👏👏 It may be small but it's in the right direction. I know I'll be happy with any loss this week.

All the covers are ironed and back in place. Well worth the effort. Curtains next, but not today. 😉

@maman - I'm definitely going over syns today!  Have opened a bottle of wine and DH doesn't like it so I'll probably drink the whole bottle!  But that's OK I'll just cut back over the week ahead.  It's worked in the past so hopefully it'll work now.

To be honest if I STS this week I'll be OK, would be nice to have a loss but at least with STS I'll still be within target range.
I think I've probably had enough of being "good" all week since I've been at this group.

I'm sure you'll get a loss this week @maman now that you are back on plan.  I agree with you any loss or even STS is better than a gain.

Glad I don't have covers and curtains to wash any more!  Leather suite and blinds are much easier to cope with!

Change of plan for tonight as we're out tomorrow and not sure what time we'll be home.  Now going to have lamb steaks, new boiled potatoes and veg.  Keema curry can wait until tomorrow as doesn't take too long.
