    Morning,

Thanks for the welcome back  :) Lovely food pics as ever @bubbs and hope your meet up goes well - what a great idea to buddy up. Thanks too for the 'C' reminder  :open_mouth:

I'm meant to be back at work this morning but I've emailed my line manager to say I won't be working. I need to speak with my GP about anxiety issues which I think are menopause related - deep joy. Had several episodes when we were away and need to get some advice. Our GP is still doing e-consulting so hopefully I will speak with someone today.

Weighed myself this morning and looks like a 3lb gain which is better than I thought.

    Food today:
    B - FF vanilla yoghurt, blueberries, strawberries, 2 plums - 1 syn
L - LO beef teriyaki stir fry with noodles - 1 syn
D - SW Mexican chicken (from Take 5 recipe book) - Free
    HEA - milk
    HEA - mini babybel light
    HEB - hi fi bar
    Total syns - 2

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Morning all, a lovely day so think I'm going to get a load of washing done and out on the line.  DH is helping with my friend's move.  The dogs have been really good thankfully and not been fretful which is what I was concerned about as they've only ever been left with her son previously and he says they never settle!  We had no problems with them at all and we just left them in the living room with the door open and just shut our bedroom and the bathroom door so they had the rest of the bungalow to wander about if they wanted.

DH needed to get up to go to the loo at 3am so he also let them out as our friend had told us they usually had her up about 4 to be let out for a wee!  So at least we didn't get that.  When we got up about 7 they were both just sitting by our bedroom door but think it was probably because they heard us getting up!

    Today's plan:

    B - overnight oats - HEB; S; F
    L - gammon salad - P; S; 0.5
    D - pulled pork, chips, sweetcorn, salad - P; S; F; 3

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - salad dressing 0.5; chips 3

We had the vanilla ice cream last night - they were OK flavour wise but extremely hard!  Think when we have the caramel ones we'll have them as dessert and I'll get them out while we eat our dinner so it's a bit softer!

    Have a good day everyone.

Thanks everyone......I am still on steroids - finish tomorrow and antibiotics Wed, so hope to start Wed.

Goodness know what these steroids do to your system.  Hungry all the time.  Hope it will stop when I finish them.

I will try and do it on here at first and see how I go.  Sure I will get my head round healthy extras again.  I have 2 packs(books) and one is when Muller yogurts where free and the next when it was only plain yogurt.

Just to say - I have 3 bowls porridge per day made with water and topped with natural yogurt just to get the darn pills - truly horrible.

But this lot are certainly working.  Am going to plan meals for wed, thurs.

I have to agree about the syns @bubbs. Great that you could meet up with the lady and she's so right about how they clap for anything at group. Well done on having syns today. I'm sure you can think of things to add to your ice cream that will help. At least it's a plan. 😊

Sorry to hear about your anxiety @Coxy11 but glad you asked for help. Hope you get somewhere.

Shame you have to wait so long for your appointment @Jellybaby. Our surgery has got back to fairly normal but it seems to vary so much across the country. ☹️

We had someone at group who got very hungry on steroids @Vegastare. I think the answer has to be eating but eating on plan.

More washing here too @joedenise. Bedroom curtains today but they were relatively easy as they're just thin, cotton panels so easy to iron compared to the sitting room ones. Which chips are you having with syns? 🤔

    Today's EE plan -
B - HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried eggs (P), mushrooms, tomatoes (S)
L- cold meat (P), 1 potato (F), fried veg and pickles (Sl
D- baked cod (P), SW chips (F), runner beans, broccoli, asparagus, roast tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
    Syns - 0
