maman said:Poor love has had an awful lot to cope with in a relatively short space of time. It does seem a shame that your mum is putting off her own treatment though. Is she on a list for her knee? There seem to be long lists and I wonder if she really had a date eventually your dad would refuse to cooperate? 🤔 She wouldn't be physically away that long just not very active when she gets home. 🤔
Honey is definitely 2.5 syns per tsp. but I think it's worth it occasionally. 😋
No physically she won't be away that long but she won't be able to get up and down all the time to change the stoma baghe would have to go respite.
I forgot to say he had his appointment come yesterday for his eyes 24 thJune but wasn't really clear if they are doing both, mum needs to ring and find out and see if she can stay with him.
Morning all

Hi all,
A gain of 2lb this week which I'm taking as a win given all I've eaten and drunk! Had my banana at group and have just had my brunch. No 8 and 0 candles in the 4 shops I tried so will pop to Ts shortly to see what they have. Also need to get non-alcoholic drinks so will send DH later when he's back with the car.
Well done on the loss @bubbs - chocolate all the way then !! Good that your DDad doesn't have to wait long for the eye appointment xCross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 17/25 Currently reading The Ghost Fields by Elly Griffiths0 -
Have a lovely time celebrating @Coxy11 and great you got a loss @bubbs . Maybe the chocolate did help as it’s not a weekly occurrence so giving your metabolism something different to work on. I got a pound off which I’m chuffed with as I thought the last few weeks might catch up me.
in Morrisons earlier with mum I managed to add six jars of a well known and usually expensive brand’s red cabbage to my pickle collection 😂 they were selling them at 25p a jar all in date till next year and had loads, so didn’t feel bad taking six!Only had banana and berries and some yoghurt so far so might have some lentil soup if it’s ready until dinner which is steak, chips, onions, mushrooms and tomatoes. Wine syns later 😉
Have a good day all.0 -
Well done on your losses @bubbs and @Jellybaby.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It does seem that having syns helps @bubbs.
You've done well to get back on track after your son's visit @Jellybaby. Great bargain with the pickled cabbage. 👍🏼
I think 2lb is excellent for your Silver Wedding celebrations @Coxy11. Hope your mum's party goes well.😊
I'm still juggling with eating things up. I've prepped some roasties and chips to go in the freezer as I know I'll have plenty of potatoes left. I may do some more tomorrow. When I did some using the potatoes from Easter veg wars, they proved very useful for when I'm in a hurry to get a meal on the table.
Today's EE plan-
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried eggs, bacon (P), baked beans (F)
L- sardines (P) salad bits (S), small JP (F)
D- fishcake, peas, SW chips (F), tomato, mushrooms, asparagus (S)
Syns- Morrison's fishcake 2, weekend wine😁0 -
Well done Jelly 👏👏
