Come back soon @Its_time - I like to hear how others are getting on and it motivates me too. Not so motivated last night not to eat a piece of anniversary cake at 9pm though. OMG it's amazing and there's almost half left. There's only DH and DS2 here this week and DH in the office today - I must resist.
Shame about the carers allowance @bubbs - I wouldn't have a clue either. I could easily donate a stone to DDad and still not be at target lol
I have a niggling headache this morning which I suspect is down to dehydration, so will work on that today. Food will be:
B - WM toast, 2 tsp jam, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, grapes - HEB, 1, S
L - smoked mackerel, leaves, laughing cow triangles, pickles - 1, HEA, S
D - chilli con carne, rice, salad leaves - P, S
HEA - milk
Syns - hifi bar 3
Have a good day everyone,

Another cold, rainy day here and work is further depressing me! I can also happily donate some weight if it's needed
Fridge is looking rather bare, fruit bowl is empty and I'm having the last eggs for lunch but I'm determined to wait until Saturday morning when I do my usual shop - so meals might be a bit of a mish mash!
Today's food:
B - 45g bran flakes (HEXB) with f/f yoghurt, last of the berries
L - omelette using up tomatoes and spring onions, pickles
D - Cuban beef from the freezer with rice (it's either Slimming Eats or PON recipe and packed with veg so don't feel bad for not having some on the side!)
Have a good day all!
Edit: just remembered there's some broccoli left so will add that to dinner0 -
'Someone' has eaten 5 x Laughing Cow triangles since Monday. My guess is DS2 although he very kindly helped me look for them in the fridge at lunchtime and said he'd only eaten 1. Improvised at lunch with 2 mini babybel instead. Honestly you can never buy anything different without 'someone' flaming eating it! I wouldn't mind but there's cheese galore in the fridge!

I haven't had any chocolate but I have been synning. 🤔
Stayed on plan all day but we've been to the theatre tonight and I've had wine syns and a salted caramel ice cream. 😋
New day tomorrow. I'm hoping to put off holiday mode for a few more days. 😉0 -
Ooh well I'm joining the 'syn club' as had another slice of anniversary cake last night. One piece left for DD who is currently in Leeds visiting her pal and will be back tonight. We've a curry night with friends tonight and I'm already 2lb heavier without clothes than the last time I weighed in. Was hoping to claw it back this week but have had several 'stuff it' moments as so much going on. It's DMum's 80th on Sunday and we are having an afternoon tea in DSis's garden, so another day off plan. Can't be helped.
What did you see at the theatre @maman?
Today I have to get DS2 to his Physics exam for 1.45pm. What is your DS studying @beanielou?
Food will be:
B - bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, poached egg, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, grapes - P, S
L - 3 rye cakes, marmite, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles, hi fi bar - HEB, S
D - takeaway curry
HEA - milk
Syns - lots

Morning all. Hope all those going through exams at the moment are doing ok. We had 3 lots of interviews happening in the office yesterday and you could just feel the nervous energy everywhere 😆 Probably not helped by 3 people had applied for all 3 roles and been shortlisted so were having to basically spend an entire day saying the same thing over and over again 😳
Had a bowl of ff yogurt with blueberries for breakfast and can't decide on what to have for lunch yet. Was going to be butternut squash soup but it's too warm for that. Dinner tonight is a chicken curry and rice which will clear a little more space from the freezer.
Hope everyone has a good day and weekend - think I need another coffee to make it through the rest of the morning.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
I've been out and about this morning at work meetings and the time has just flown by, been lovely catching up with some colleagues that I usually only see on screen!
DS2 has fell in love with a house he viewed yesterday. He's arranged another viewing so I can have a nosy round tomorrow. House prices are crazy so not sure he'll get it for the price he's willing to offer but excited to have a look round.
Today's food:
B - bacon roll (HEXB)
L - pasta salad counting 4 syns for dressing
D - tomato, bacon and chilli spaghetti (SW recipe)
A bit of a heavy carb day with all the pasta!
Hope you're all having a good day!0
