Thank you Maman for the redirection x
    Fab new name 👌

    Hello all,
I've been away a while but that doesn't mean I haven't been following the plan.  I made a big decision March/April time to simply change things.  So far I have lost exactly 1 stone with slimming world and 1 stone 4lb since Christmas.
I have taken a different approach and have literally tested the plan to its max and eaten, it has worked.
Tonight I am making myself a curry and whilst I know I am very low on my syns plus I have done an hours cardio I would still like to be accurate.
I just can not work out how many syns in the mayflower curry sauce, my app says 3 or 4 depending on how it is made.  I've made 85g with 460ml of water, it has now thickened considerably so I will add more water.  I will probably get 2 or 3 portions from it but only used 3/4 of a chicken breast so it might not go very far.  How many syns will be in the 85g??
I put chicken, celery, peppers, mushrooms and onions with basmati rice, thanks everyone 😊

Good to hear from you @Its_time. I'm sure @bubbs will answer your question about the Mayflower sauce. She should be along soon.

It must be great to just go where the mood takes you @joedenise. Breakfast sounds like you're sticking with 'good when you can'. That's an excellent philosophy for eating away from home. 😁

We're having new potatoes tonight although I prefer mash with liver. I want to use them up. I'm cooking the whole bag so I'll use the rest for frying, eating cold or I might make some potato salad. 🤔

I got the munchies last night. It can happen when I have dinner too early. Ate about 6 small water biscuits but then ate loads of tomatoes and beetroot and cold chicken, so not all bad.

I have masses of pickles in my store cupboard too @Jellybaby. I stock up as I get cornichons from Lidl on rare visits and bought 6 jars of pickled cabbage when I was in the Company Shop. Farmfoods have had vacuum packed beetroot at 49p for a few weeks, so I have loads of that too. 😋

    Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried egg (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
    L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), salad (S)
D- liver and onions (P, S), new potatoes, LO gravy (F), cauli, broccoli, carrots (S)
    Syns-0🤞

    Evening everyone,

Thanks for the anniversary wishes. We had a lovely late lunch in Cote. I chose from the Prix Fixe - salmon rillettes (creamy with capers - not what I was expecting!), with a little bread and some pickles, steak and frites, lemon tart. DSis had ordered us a lovely raspberry and cream cake which we had a small slice of with coffee. I felt so bloated last night! Syns x '000s.

Today I've been in the London office. Nothing to take in for lunch so I bought fruity couscous from Wa!trose again.

    Food today:
    B - overnight oats, mullerlight, cherries - HEB, 0.5
    L - fruity couscous, strawbs, blueberries, grapes - 4, S
    D - kedgeree - P
HEA - milk (only had one teabag with me so barely had any milk today)
    HEA - mini babybel lights
Syns - hi fi bar 3 plus 4.5 so 7.5 total

Sorry to hear your DDad has some further medical issues @bubbs. I have the same with mine now - it's currently bad circulation in his legs. There's not much of my DDad either, he's about 9.5 st.

Good to see you @Its_time xx

Lovely that you've the freedom to roam as you please @joedenise I am very envious!

Good that you're using up what you have in @maman - I hate waste too!

    Have a good evening everyone,

Sorry to hear about your dad @bubbs. Google says that your mum can apply for Carer's Allowance but that her State Pension would be deducted from it if it's less than the allowance or she wouldn't get it if her pension was more than the allowance. If she pays tax then the allowance is taxable. HTH.

You have to have some syns so the chocolate could be useful. 😋

Thank you @bubbs that's an easier way for me to work it out and thank you @Coxy11 it's been nice to pop in.
Probably won't hang around again as I literally just don't have time to mad as that may seem but I definitely will pop back and forth to update how I am doing, ask some questions and generally say hello 👋hope your belts keep tightening, bye for now x
