Morning everyone,
We are back from our jaunt to the IOW. We were very lucky with the weather, and it only rained when we were queueing for the Fishbourne to Portsmouth ferry coming home yesterday. Hotel was nice - expensive given it didn't include breakfast so first morning we had to get food at Osborne House as we hadn't pre-ordered(?) at the hotel. Sorry but that's just odd especially as it was £260/night! We stayed in Sandown, which if you've ever been to IOW you will know it's a bit run down. We much preferred Cowes and Yarmouth and would aim to stay there if we went again. Luckily the island is small enough to travel around without any hassle.
I have weighed at home and have gained 2lb which given I've drunk a lot of rum n diet cokes, I'm surprised about! I'm on plan today and have a late lunch tomorrow (actual anniversary) at Cote, so should be able to choose something 'good'. WI is not until Saturday morning, so I have time to rein things back this week.
I ordered a Morries delivery which came at 7.30am today, so I'm all stocked up on F&V etc. Random 2 x packs of 8 pork sausages in the bags which I didn’t order (or pay for) so they are in the freezer for another time.
Food today:
B - poached egg, toasted WM pitta, grapes, strawberries, blueberries – P, HEB, SL - smoked peppered mackerel, 3 laughing cow light triangles, lettuce, pickles, banana - 1, 1/2 HEA, S
D – Tom Kerridge’s mascarpone chicken, new potatoes, green beans, broccoli - 5
HEA - milk
Syns – 6Have a good day everyone,
Coxy

That's dreadful service (or lack of it ☹️) from the hotel @Coxy11. I agree with you about Yarmouth, it's probably the prettiest place on the island. 😊
🤞to get rid of the 2lbs by the weekend. You've definitely got all the right foods in.
Back to normal for me today. I'm starting to think about what I need to do before I go away. It seems unreal after all this time. 🤔
Today's EE plan -
B- HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, fried egg (P), tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
L- chicken (P), 1 potato (F), fried vegetables and pickled cabbage (S)
D- baked cod (P), SW chips (F), roast cauliflower, green stuff, tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
