Thanks for the sauce recipe @Jellybaby. I generally add some herbs too like oregano and/or basil. That gives it an Italian flavour and a usually use a HEA of Parmesan on top.

I hadn't thought of mushrooms but will put those in as I love them and, left whole, they add something of a meat texture and I'm trying to cut back on meat. Meatballs (turkey) are ready in the freezer so definitely one meal before we go away.

This week I'll be buying an absolute minimum as we fly out next Wednesday. 🤞

I did an inventory of my cupboards earlier and counted 2 jars each of baby beetroot, pickled cabbage and gherkins, 3 of pickled onions and 1 red peppers in brine. That’s not counting the Branston, sauces and mustards! I don’t know if this is a sign of a typical SW member or I have a pickle problem 😂😂

Morning all, not had a good night's sleep again as it's been raining on and off all night.  It's actually stopped at the moment but I don't know for how long!  We are still in Normandy at a little village called Rugles.  We've been here a few times before as the parking area is right by a stream with a bridge over it which takes you into a park before going through (or round it if you want a longer walk) to a nice village.  It's got all the shops you need including a little SM.  We're moving on today but not sure where to yet!  But we'll probably drive for about 2 hours as since the beginning of the week we haven't done more than about an hour and we don't seem to be getting anywhere!  Can't believe the first week has gone already.

Happy anniversary @Coxy11.  Hope you had a lovely day yesterday.

Well done @Jellybaby and to your DD.  I'm sure you'll both reach your targets before your holiday - it's certainly doable.  Good luck.

Right off to do some breakfast - a SW one today with no bread!  Bacon & mushroom omelette.

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  Happy anniversary for yesterday @Coxy11 hope you had a lovely day and hope the weather clears up a bit for you @joedenise so you can get a better sleep tonight.  Sounds like you're definitely in a picturesque part of the world though!

Went back to my usual ff yogurt and blueberries for breakfast this morning, along with a slice of toast because I was feeling rather hungry (think it was the exercise from yesterday).  Lunch is the last of my soybean paste stew and rice and then dinner is gammon steak with chips and veg and an egg too for good measure.

Hope you all have a good day!

Raining here too but I'd rather be where you are @joedenise.  It's @annabanana82 that had a loss, my target might be the end of the year!!

Just having a quick coffee before tackling a few tricky emails.

    Today's plan:
B - sweet omelette with banana, strawberries, f/f Greek yoghurt and 1 tbsp Skinny syrup (0.5 syns)
L - baked potato with l/over chilli and pickles
D - baked haddock, roast potatoes, roasted tomatoes, broccoli and carrots, sweetcorn

    Have a good day all!
