    Hello

    Well done on the losses.

Weigh day minus  - 2 1/2 lbs please Brambling.

I managed 2 hilly walks,1 swim and some resistance training this week. In addition to all the blummin weighing and tracking I’ve been playing with timings of meals to see if that makes a difference.
Onto week six and the plan is: find my yoga mat, rescue the rebounder from under the clothes mountain, try to eat breakfast a tiny bit later each day and push my main meal back a tiny bit to eventually loose the supper. 😱 I’m not sure how I’ll get on with that, my head doesn’t like it when I say I’m going to do intermittent fasting! I’ll start slowly and perhaps it won’t notice.

    Todays plan
Breakfast: yoghurt, fruits of the forest and too much peanut butter; 1 coffee with cream and 1 with a little milk
Main meal: peri peri halloumi, roasted peppers and zucchini, feta crumbles and a side salad
Supper/ dessert: sf jelly and yoghurt

Back at 11 stone 7lbs seem to be fluctuating up and down at the moment. Stopped eating crisps  and replaced with home made cheesy spuds as they are cheaper for snack attacks

    . . . .
Well done on the STS @General_Grant .  On holiday food, I'd call that a win.  (And, if it was a very active holiday, maybe you've gained some muscle, which weighs heavier...)

Thanks for letting me play, @Brambling - I've dug out my old SW folders and some of the books.  I've also updated the weight loss spreadsheet I invented on Excel.  I'm discalculic, so it's probably far more detailed than most people would want, but it means that I can track my progress more easily.
    I've got the figures for:
    • Current weight
    • Weekly loss/gain and Total Loss
    • Steady weight loss figures at 1lb, 1.5lb, 2lbs
    • Interim Targets: Body weight %ages,  BMI (with a formula to change it as weight drops)
    • Progress against targets
Plus I highlight things like the months/targets etc differently so I can see where I am more easily.
It sounds complicated, and it probably would be overdone for most people, but my perception needs all the help it can get! :D

    . . .
Thanks for the encouragement @basketcase.   Activity included prolonged steepish hill walking.

I understand your tracking process.  I use tables in Word to count calories and macronutrients (using the sum formula function) and transfer those totals to an Excel file and then average over rolling 3 and 7 days - so I can go over target some individual days without beating myself up about it as the colour coded averages alert me to problems and I can cut back or increase (eg for protein or fibre if I'm not having as much as I aim for).  My BMI is actually OK (22.1) but I want it to move a little further south.

Presumably your tracking's more tailored and/or sophisticated than FitPal or similar?
What would you like your BMI to be?  It sounds like you don't have too much to lose.  From previous experience I start to look a bit haggard if I get below 21.5 - my face becomes a bit skeletal, even if my hips don't! :D
