Chase 1.5% Easy Access
Comments

When attempting to open the Chase UK app, I get a message requiring a minimum Android version of 8.0.
My Samsung phone is Android 8.0. A free telephone call confirmed that this should be ok, and suggested turning the phone on and off, but still no access.
This is a mobile phone app only and not available on a computer desktop.0 -
I bought a new android 11 phone last week for the Atom bank savings account and a NatWest current account – no problem.
I have given up with Chase, it will be dark soon so I wont be able to take a selfie anyway. If I do get it resolved tomorrow knowing my luck the product will be taken off the market due to the amount of people getting their money in quick. Hopefully there will be other products coming on the market very soon. I have a large sum of money in NS&I that needs to be taken out, rate currently 0.5% can’t see that going up any time soon.

It's a variable rate account, so there are no guarantees for any of us.

App saying device not compatible even though I have android 11. Well done to those who have signed up this morning. It has been highlighted in the Daily Wail, so this morning the Chase bank sever is going in meltdown I suspect.
It is now 15:20 pm, been at it since 10:00 am this morning--- I have given up!
Yup, I'm having tonnes of issues too. After a load of upload difficulties, I am still awaiting approval which I'm guessing is a manual process. 4 hours so far. I suspect they got inundated today. Happy to be patient for what looks like a market smashing rate.I cant even clear the first hurdle, that’s installing the app on my android 11 phone which I bought last week, phone is set to all default settings.

Those people who are technically clever enough you can and try to force the application on via a root file registry adjustment, but don’t ask me how to do it ! I'm still in the Sptfire age and not the jet age!

EDIT: I'm only using it for the savings interest rate.Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

Still not arrived. Chase tell me alternately that transfers are delayed and taking time to go through, and that there may be a problem and I need to get the Faster Payments ID from the sending bank (which I have, but Chase haven't asked for it again since I got it from First Direct). I think they are a bit overwhelmed but a bit of consistent messaging would be reassuring...
FWIW, I have transferred more than £20K into Chase today, in 3 separate payments. Once released by the sending bank, which took an hour's phone call to them, the payments were in my Chase account within 30 seconds1 -
How do you add more than 1 if you're allowed 10?
I've added my 1st, then when I goto add account, the savings account option doesn't appear, it just tries to open another card account
Edit - once I put some money in, it then gave me the option0 -
