Can you have the app on more than 1 device, ie tablet and phone?
It can only be active on one device at a time, as your account is linked to a physical device. It‘s easy to swap devices, though, provided you can receive a text on your registered phone number
Note: on Android, to swap back to a previously used device it is necessary to clear data from the app before registering it for the second time.
crikey, didn‘t know that. I must remember to mention iOS. No clearing of data needed when swapping between  iPhone and iPad

Hopefully it's just a temporary bug that will be fixed now I've reported it to them.

Uninstal and reinstall of the Chase app also allows it to be registered.

How quickly after applying for current a/c can you put money in the savings a/c?
I opened the account and put in £100 to make sure it all went ok.
As soon as it credited I sent a 5 figure sum, I went back to chase and clicked add and opened the savings account.
Closed the app and reopened it, money was there and then transferred it to savings account.
So I would say 2 minutes to open and fund the account, 1 minute if your quick.
You can transfer straight to the saver, rather than pass through the chase current account first.
    Sorry don’t know.
Ive set up payment to the main account, then just transfer into savings.

Not only can you pay into the savings account directly, you can also make payment out of the savings account directly (APP fraudster's heaven, potentially)

Only if you want to spend with your Chase card would you have to transfer money first to your Chase current account

Account opened and money transferred. Thinking about moving some premium bond money into my account. My wife is not interested in any additional funds from her PB's money. Anyone had any thoughts on this?

I withdrew all my PB money a year or so ago. I'd rather have guaranteed 1.5% income than occasional 25 quid and a small chance of a big win. PB overall interest rate is only 1%

Thanks VXman, that was my thinking. Although I just realised a flaw in my plan in that I only have £1K interest allowance before having to pay tax on the interest. Need to redo my numbers.
